Jacoby and Tre are both potentially the next Cliff Branch. Imagine having two Cliff Branch-type players who have speed and can kill the defense that is trying to stop Devante and the dual tight ends. I would run the double tight sets and let the three WRs cycle each other. I know, that blows up the whole #1, #2, thing. But if someone would teach me the lingo, I could blow up some game planning for these three WRs. Who says that the #1 WR has to line up in the 1? Imagine Devante running a slot after blocking as a TE in play action. You'll get him alone in the flat or the seam with downfield blockers from the double TEs and either Tre or Jacoby (depending on rotation). I hope we don't see more of the offensive-stall that we have seen in the last several seasons. Offense is supposed to have the advantage in today's NFL. In my opinion, the best offensive advantage is misdirection and slight of hand. If you don't have the assets, you can't expect to make it happen. If a QB doesn't know the anatomy of a play action, then your third and 1 is gonna bust. I would run a "well action" where everyone is circled up into a blocking formation. You just need one player to trickle out by missing a block. The missed block is calculated and taken up while the fallen block player is wide open for a first down. If your circled blockers peel out, you form a wall to one side and a downfiels block with the others. A running back or receiver can follow those blocks or get to the other side of the wall for a deep run. Now we have players who have drive. They are ready for multi-layered plays. This is also how you set up future plays. Let them see it in one formation. Then, in the playoffs, do it with a different formation. The cycle of receivers who are not defined as 1, 2, or 3 will be the difference. Just make sure your have a solid three-yard pound and ground for the short game (expecting the safety to trip up or deep runs). Without the threat of the "ground punch," nothing works anyway. So establish that, first, then hit them with stuff that they thought was covered. A three on two wall block can open any play that needs a spring. I hope the sled doesn't have rust!

First off. The only people who are targets are Adams and Bowers. Everyone else will be progressions. Tucker will have a handful of plays. Having a lot of weapons means you can target the open man . Makes life easier, look at Purdy

I think that signing Gallup and Guyton will allow Jacobi Meyers to play in the slot more often. That dudes start/stop is deadly and he'll be a better Slot than a Perimeter Receiver
