I'm slightly surprised so many people pay attention to the musicians, visually speaking. Talking about the really important issue at hand, I am very grateful that this piece has been brought to my attention, especially since this performance is quite charming. I have always been very fond of reed instruments. There's just this little something about their sound: that wooden, even guttural something that makes them so flawed and precious at the same time. I love it.
I recently took up the bassoon after a ridiculous number of years away from it. Listening to this inspires me to press forward with it, but also frustrates me for giving it up! This arrangement is captivating, well done to both! 👏🏽
I started playing the bassoon in 6th grade, and I first watched this all the way back in 7th grade which was when this video first came out. It inspired my playing all through high school and college, really emphasizing tone, beauty, and artistry on the instrument. I sadly put aside my musical pursuits for a time while I focus on establishing a career. I will pick it back up one day and hopefully propel even further than before.
The sound of the breath of the bassonist remembers us that this heavenly music is human. Was made by us. I am proud to listen his effort turned into a piece of tge ethereal. I am a flutist and sometimes i forgot that i am human too. This guy remembered me of this. Bravo.
This is an undeniably stunning performance and recording: sincere, sensitive and gorgeously nuanced -- congratulations to both musicians! That first movement is seriously one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces I have ever heard. This particular combination of instruments and performers is truly remarkable.

If you listen to this beautiful piece without a tear in your eye you are probably dead .My two favorite classical instruments taking music to its highest
This beautiful Vivaldi piece is enhanced by Roman's ability to shape the notes. A wonderful collaboration between I married couple that look like they really enjoy making music together!
