I am portuguese and I lived in Bulgaria, so... for me, this video song has a very, very, very, very special meaning! Obicham Bulgariq! Amo Portugal! =)
There are no words to describe how beautiful is this! Divine music... Amazing combination of Bulgarian folklore and Portuguese music. I listen to this with tears in my eyes!
A very successfull mariage between Azorean and Bulgarian music. The Azorean piece is called Chamateia, and is a composition of Luís Alberto Bettencourt with lirics from Antonio Melo e Sousa. A breathtaking interpretatian from amazing musicians !!!
Part of the music is in Bulgerian (the choir). The lyrics sang by Mr. Zambujo are from Azorian poem called "Chamatea" (you can look for the lyrics online). The beauty of Mr. Zambujo`s interpretation lies om the fact that he sings with an Alentejo`s musicallity (remembering the Alentejo`s cante - which was declared mankind cultural`s heritage)....
Amazing. I can't see Nationalities or any other bondaries, just the power and beauty of raw human voices acting like celestial music instruments. Thank you for sharing.
I closed my eyes and took a 5 minutes plunge into sheer relief. This melody, these voices are made to soothe restless souls. It is something so beautiful and appeasing, it made me wonder how we human beings can create something so amazingly positive and yet let our lives be steered by greed, exploitation, intolerance, ignorance. Grazie, blagodaria, obrigado!
Fantástica sonoridade do coro Búlgaro.
Maravilhoso, arrepiante!!!
Unfortunately I don't know the bulgarian lyrics. But this is the portuguese part :) No berço que a ilha encerra Bebo as rimas deste canto, No mar alto desta terra Nada a razão do meu pranto. (...)
Below you could find the Bulgarian lyrics with transliteration: Tsafnalo, tsafnalo tsveke shareno na momino, na mominoto pendzhere. Sutrin go, sutrin go mome poliva vecher go, vecher go momche obira. Mome go, mome go lyuto kalneshe, -Puknalo, puknalo, ludo tresnalo.
Hristiyan Bonev this is not the translation but the transcript. A translation is when you express from one language to another the meaning of a text.
@@ke2delight If you look more carefully you will see that I've stated transliteration, which is different from translation which you are talking about.
