Already had diatomaceous earth so I went and poured it in the bag of my cactus potting soil. The ants got in a sealed bag that was outside. I’m sure it will work! I was just waiting for you to recommend it.

I know what you mean. I had some mint in pots surrounding a 4x4 bed and they literally made their home in the pots of mint! Honestly, I haven’t seen mint repel ANY pest that they’re supposed to repel. Cinnamon hasn’t worked for me either. My ants are fearless I guess. DE sometimes works. But not for long. They are so relentless!!

Yes, I have the same problem........and my ants bite and sting you very fast......I have found that putting a minty toothpaste on immediately helps it go away instead of swelling up, itching and filling with puss, then leaving a scar.....also I have put toothpaste on my feet with candles (and ankles too) to work in the garden and they stay clear of my feet then.......hope this helps someone.

I have a cluster of deep red ants on a portion of the tip of my snake plant that is outdoors right now. I watched the video and your recommendation of using diatomaceous earth and or cinnamon will help. Can I put it on the leaves and not hurt the plant? Thanks!

It’s made from ancient sea life. Perfectly safe. Avoid eye or sinus contact. Some people actually take internally to kill parasites in the digestive tract.

I submerged (leaf tip to pot base) two potted plants in a sealed bucket of dawn dish soap water over night. and guess what? .... Lol, it did not work. I said WTF? how?

How about clove powder being an antifungal agent ants tend to AVOID clove powder. Ants use fungi as food storage so Appling this anti fungal agent will prevent ants from storing fungi so they learn not to use your potted plants for breeding / storage grounds and to seek the great outdoors where they belong.

I know you can use Dawn soap to bathe your pets and kill fleas too! Lather really well and make sure it's down to the skin and let it soak for 5 minutes. Safe for baby pets too.

This is very helpful. Thank you, and bless you! I just discovered a bunch of different types of insects in my indoor majestic palm plant. I am going to put oil down in it. I just use some oil to cook some shrimp, and I will let you know how it goes. However I had to man up to deal with these ants, and when I the way you was handling it. I said to myself "Man up, and deal with this!".. Your advice really helped me sir! Bless you and your family! I will let you know how it goes with this oil!
