My friend's dad is an events specialist for a venue that DMB plays at a lot, and he says that Dave and the band are some of the nicest people he's ever met. They're always willing to spend time with fans and meet people. This is a prime example, Dave just chillin with the fans doin a solo show not even part of the actual concert... gotta love that!
Hey, 50+ successful biz woman making 6 figs a year here..and love the herb. It's a choice, not a character flaw. And it hasn't hampered my progress a bit. Nor Daves's it would appear. Salude! Dave rocks. Especially in this vid.
just shows you how most of DMBs songs were written by dave on his guitar. they hold up without the rest of the band, and you can see how complex they are on the guitar.
Dave Matthews is truly a musical genius. Who cares what you guys are arguing about. This is the best Dave matthews solo on Ants marching I have ever heard. And know I am not on drugs ( okay maybe a little fat tire), but this is about true timeless talent. I'm 33 and remember this song early in high school. Dave, I'm truly thankful for your work!!
THE BEST BAND EVER. period. end of story. Unbelievable. Just as good if not better live as in the recorded songs. True unadulterated talent and passion for music. Thanks for the way your music has shaped and impacted my life, and all of our lives, DMB!!
I've been to a number of Dave shows where he tells the crowd, "Why don't ya'll sit and chill". He's just doing what he can to suggest that you won't be offending the band if you relax, and have a good time. Plus, if everyone is sitting, then no one HAS to stand to have a good view of the band. This is especially important when you're sitting on some grassy hill. I'm all for standing and cheering if that's the vibe, but at an acoustic show and small venue the intimacy can be even better.
Honeslty, this is an awsome version, and anyone who disagrees, why the fuck are you even watching/commenting on this video. Show some respect for the man, even if u dont like the music, look at the big picture. RIP. Roi
I saw him at SPAC this past summer. It was fucking incredible. When Trey came out on stage and helped play LIOG. I can't wait until this coming up summer.
who are those people just hanging out by the stage, and why aren't they FREAKING out? lol i think i would just stand there and sob if i was that close to Dave.
