hi nurse niezl. can you please explain on how to tackle the evidence based practice? you explain the osce skill by detail and it's easy to understand. hope you can teach us on how to do the right technique. it is really different to the professional values which is easier for me. i will be looking forward to this hopefully soon. i've been your follower since you started and excited to watch your newly uploaded videos. thank you so much nurse niezl. god bless you and more power to your channel.
Correct me if iam wrong?.Ihave one doubt while removing old dresssing we have to apply a small amount gauze drip in normal saline to remove easily the package and avoid sticking pain to the patient as well? What u think? Thank you for your video it is wonderful explanation and understandable as well
Hello Nienzi,Can you please teach me how we can do Antt if the sterile gloves is in the top part instead of waste bag?So we can use extra sterile gloves for sorting right? Can you do a videos of Antt in this way?
If you have the sterile dressing pack but the gallipot isn't included in it, would you then clean a separate gallipot with clinell and then place it away from the sterile field?
Oh no. Make sure that only sterile equipment should be placed on your sterile field. If no gallipot is present, there is a container included in your wound care pack to place your normal saline with. Please keep the sterility of your field. Hope this helps.
Hi Nurse Niezl😊, with regards of using sterile gloves with my own size 71/2 instead of the gloves found inside the wound dressing pack which are small to medium, how and when would I use it, and should I open the packaging of my size 7 1/2 sterile gloves and place it in the sterile field after I opened the wound dressing pack, before rearranging of materials whilst using the yellow bag OR later together with putting other items like wound dressing, and sterile water, OR I can do donning of my own 71/2 sterile gloves outside? Thanks Nurse Niezl. I will be taking my OSCE in 4 days, wish me luck❤️.
Hello. If your glove size is bigger than the ones inside the wound care pack, then collect your own size sterile gloves whilst preparing the items at the bottom of the trolley. Open the sterile gloves after you have openned the sterile field. But first, arrange your articles on top of the trolley using the yellow bag, after that, you can place the sterile gloves on top(& normal saline, wound dressing) Hope this helps. Goodluck on your OSCE🥰
Hi there. Good question. According to the new update, it is now 7 steps. Step 1: Wet hands and apply soap Step 2: Rub the palms together Step 3: Rub the back of hands Step 4: Rub the back of the fingers Step 5: Rub and clean the thumbs Step 6: Rub and clean the tips of the fingers Step 7: Rinse the hands. I am so used to saying 6 steps. =) Hope this clears it.
@nurseniezl can u do APIE with timing PLEASEEEEE so that we can have idea on how to do it with confidence cause time is really our main issue from introduction till how u manage to take all the observations plus the A-E and scoring in 20mins only 😢
If I failed ANTT first attempt, on my second attempt I'm likely to be resitting the same scenarios ie ANTT, professional values, evidence based etc? Like I know the scenario for APIE might change but I'm resitting ANTT if I failed ANTT?
Yes. According to the new NMC rules. On your second attempt, you will only resit the stations where you have failed at. ie: if it was ANTT, then it's ANTT on the resit. Hope this helps.🥰
I am very pleased with your results. Would you be able to send me a message on my fb messenger. I would really appreciate it. Again, congratulations and welcome to the register🥰👏👏🥳
