16:35 When Anubhav talks about access to a film like Tum Bin, our access was HIM! When it had come out, and the VCD (yes, I'm old) had come out, Anubhav came down to meet many cable operators in Allahabad, Banaras and Lucknow to distribute copies of the VCD to play on cable. My uncle happened to be one of them, and that's how we've watched it as a family so many times!
Meri shikayat rehti hai ki why don’t they promote the film ache se? Movie release hone ke 20 din pehle tk kuch pta nhi hota movie ke baare mei kuch.. pehle movie 18 November ko aani thi.. lekin release hui nhi.. koi update Nhi diya.. fir ek dm Btaya ki 24 March ko aayegi.. I mean as fans, thoda toh btana chahiye na jo bhi chlra hai.. Hm wait hi krte reh jaate hain
The Freedom of Expression is seriously under threat. I have watched a few of Anubhav Sinha's interviews on Bheed but no where he talked about the controversies. I so wanted to know why the PM announcement part was removed, why the trailer was taken down from RU-vid for a couple of days etc etc but no where has he spoken on these issues
Article 15 is one of the best Hindi language movies I have ever seen, the moment Ayushman's character finds out the truth of his colleagues had made me fucking awestruck I had had an experience how goosebumps really feel. It had made me disgusted beyond imagination uff!!
I think b/w is major reason for not working on the bo. When I bought tickets, the person behind the counter gave a 'disclaimer'. Obviously he would have got viewers objecting to this.
I wanted to watch this movie so bad. I'm in the US and this film released in a single theater 1.5 hours of a drive away from me and that too on weekday afternoons mostly. I don't know how anyone expected an audience to make it to such showtimes. And it was pulled before it hit the weekend.
Yeah half of her stories have been proven false (her mom even said she exaggerates) so she would make an interesting person to make a film but for different reasons than you think,
Anek also didnt work because it was just bad filmmaking, script was bad writing, he generalised a whole area, acting was bad... Shall I go on, just admit the film is bad
What do you think went wrong in the filmmaking? Acting was sure not the very best and the script too could have been better with less sub points. Dialogues were corny and sketchy too. Though I didn't get your generalised and filmmaking points.
