Anurag Kashyap is the true liberal. Not her.

Bad interviewer. She had her own intentions behind some of the questions and when she didn’t get a satisfactory answer kept poking him and was visibly upset. Poor.

She tries so hard to make him sound like an activist. The problem is he is a skin in the game man.

The thing is u constantly criticise a film based on it's politics rather than the elements of filmmaking. And then people call themselves critics.

What a stupid first question to ask why did you post a picture with Sandeep? I mean why can't he post a pic with him ? Is he a criminal? He made a movie u don't like it don't watch it. Every one in the industry likes animal they just don't have the balls to admit it with the fear of getting judged. Movies don't change society. Shefali shaha said in an interview that after doing delhi crime did rapes stopped happening? No ? Animal earned 900+cr Worldwide which means the majority of the people liked it. In Kabir Singh Preeti slapped Kabir first why nobody talks about that. In animal Ranbir's character gets constantly slapped by Rashmika and Anil whereas Ranbir doesn't raise a hand. Yes boby's character does coz uska character waisa hai. He is a villain. Agar sab acha he dekhna hai toh Jake cartoon network aur pogo dekho. It's a story about a problematic character so view it like that . In movies like dushman and sangharsh ashutosh rana plays this very bad characters doing these heinous crimes so do we end up becoming like that no ? So what impact on society are you talking about? Game of thrones shows incest relationship so do you end having sex with your siblings in real life ? And you are talking about anupam Chopra here let me tell you she was dying to get vanga on her show animal. Vanga himself said it that he was constantly receiving calls from her but he said no. So why was she calling him anyway? She is a biased person. I still remember her review of Thursday where yami Gautam's name was not even mentioned in the entire review. And Janice you really don't know how to conduct interviews. Your intention here was to make Anurag say something negative about Sandeep but why ? Just because you don't like ? Who are you anyways? This is some shabby piece of journalism. Like you said anurag can't convince you he clearly wasn't even trying to also you can't also convince others. Simple you don't like it don't watch but don't question or ask people not to watch something just because u didn't like it. Watch Vidya Balan's interview where she literally praised vanga for his conviction because she thinks it's just a movie and should be viewed like one. People like vidya and shefali restore my faith in feminism unlike some pseudo feminists

Anurag explained everything in the first answer but this lady who has some personal issues with Sandeep kept dragging one question in different ways. Simple thing is when Hollywood makes a movie like American psycho people laud the direction and actor. If you have issues and you want to clear doubts of many women then please take an interview of that person who has made the film.

Anurag Kashyap is a man who is so down-to-earth that his films like his opinions are unapologetic.

What a worst anchor she is who just want to impose her ideas and views on the guest. That is not the true intent of an interview. She is sitting there with an agenda and anything which the guest would say to oppose her views, she tries to re-emphasize what she actually want to hear. Watched her channel for the first tym just coz of Anurag and this is the last tym. Couldn't bear her ignorance and arrogance more than 15 mins. Also, the audio is worst. Need to work allot on her caricature and devs of the content.

Brilliant interview, we need more of such, thanks Janice, but what's up with the sound? There are ways to correct sound even if capture isn't that good. There are ai tools that help you correct it... Like magic dust, audio cleanse etc. all the best. And we need many more Anurag Kashyap. More power to him. 🎉

The podcast is really good but you should improve your audio quality of this podcast! Use Adobe premiere pro, or Audition which can improve audio quality within minutes using AI regardless you used a professional microphone or not!

It's clear that she has a problem with Vanga and can't dare to interview him and ask him questions and using AK to fire at Vanga. As AK rightly said in the first few minutes, if you have a problem talk to that person. So if she has a problem with the film and the maker, she could have straight interviewed Vanga. She didn't as she hates the person because of a film he made without knowing the person.
