"Tomorrow" is one of my favorite songs despite it not having any lyrics, something about the way the notes progress is just so comforting. Honestly this entire band is comforting and chaotic and I love it so much

This just reminds me of the old Wilbur songs. Just fresh clean accoustic.

The ambience is perfect; the occasional car passing reflection in the glass, the people passing at various speeds, the almost living album cover feeling. It’s perfect.

This EP feels really nostalgic to me. I remember when I first listened to "Are you Alright?". I immediately felt in love in your music. I found a friend with whom I could talk about your music. We were absolutely crazy about how good your songs were (and still are c:). Unfortunately our friendship felt apart. The acoustic sounds make me remind of the good times I had with her. Thank you for making my life colorful, I really appreciate that :)

I've never liked acoustic versions, but i fell in love with this one. I really like everything Lovejoy does.

moments that made want to combust from happiness: 3:00 the little piano sound was so cute 4:23 the “I don’t know why” was so cool in both my ears (idk how to explain it) (again at 5:09 ) 5:44 the woo and then the instrumentals made me so happy😭 7:48 the “to his flat” is amazing I can’t describe the feeling but it makes my brain feel funky (in a good way ofc) 9:07 “hows it feel to be so loved yet so alone” always gets me 13:10 in both ears again makes my brain feel like mush

I just can't wait for the day I can go to a lovejoy concert. Then I can die happy. It's so incredible to see all the progress they've made from someone who's been here since day 1, not only am I thankful for this band, I'm thankful for this incredible community of people who are so cool, loving, and accepting. There's been a lot of great memories made in the lovejoy community. I wish anyone who's reading this either in 2023 or 2056 an incredible life. ❤

What the meaning behind each song is in my opinion Taunt: a relationship between the singer and a girl who is used to getting her way. The girl is one of those popular girls that is really insecure. And the singer is trying to understand her. Eventually he just gives up as he realises the relationship is toxic One day: the singer is going though the mediocrity of life when he meets a lovely girl that he will never see again. He hopes to see her at a bar again but it will never happen and he is now regretting not getting to know her Sex sells: about the singer living next to a girl he likes very much but knows she’s a porn star and sleeps around a lot. He longs to be with her but will never get the chance Cause for concern: about the singer and a girl who hate each other but as they get to know each other they grow to love each other. They go from haters to lovers and live happily with each other. Please tell my your thoughts in the replies.

Loving the vocal harmonies in Sex Sells! I'm really hoping we get more audible, active vocal harmonizations in future songs, we heard some in "Call Me What You Like" at the end of the song and it was so satisfying! Hopefully we get more in the future

Everytime lovejoy uploads it just reminds me why i love this little band and im all for it. The vibes is just so raw and unpolished yet its so comforting too unlike the recycled sparkles and flawless image of other popular bands and singers. It just feels homey and im proud to say that they are my favourite band

Love the occasional use of synth/keyboard in place of the trumpets! These are very nice acoustic renditions of the songs on AYA, and even includes the first minute of the cut intro song "Tomorrow," which is seemingly now the whole song. I also love how they chose a different key for Sex Sells, which they also perform in that key during shows. Love it.
