The reason your shield charges so quickly when entering SCM from NAV is because the shield charge is held in a buffer for quicker transitions into SCM.

I wish cannons had a much lower firing rate but more alpha damage, like they used to have. In live and 3.23 they just feel like somewhat slow firing repeaters.

The F8C Lightning is a wonderful ship. If it wasn't so expensive I would get one.

The FL-22 and FL-33 cannons have faster fire rate now, they are more like repeaters now. Really good vs fighters

F8C already lost its glory and will easily be overruled by F7A soon.

Well, the movement nerf is disappointing but it's nice to see the bigger weapons. I dont really understand the hate it gets sometimes, the F8C was never meta, a good fighter with a sexy shape, but not meta. And it remains just that, a fun ship to fly, cuts through bounties with ease, but hardly indestructible. The F8A is coming no doubt, any self respecting F8 owner will not hesitate to splash the cash, and CIG know that. My best setup in 3.22 was four laser repeaters four shredders, in 3.23 hopefully the shredders will have more ammo than the lousy 200/220.

So did they remove the shield effects will under fire, I didn't see any shields taking fire.

Try FL33 and FL22 cannons

Ran a full set of ballistic gats on the f8 in the EPTU and couldn't even kill a reclaimer before I was out of ammo. Doesn't feel great to me.

How much would you expect to pay for an f8A if it ever got developed? ..Im waiting for the f7c> f7A upgrade that was promised via the Xeno event, to see if its a worthwhile upgrade.

The combat desync in 3.23 is absolutely unacceptable. How can anyone engage in any kind of combat at all if they never know whether or not they're even being shot at until minutes later when they randomly die? If they release this to live in this trashed state, they're smoking crack.
