In the mid-80s I had a few radio hits and was on the road a lot. They flew me into Chicago to open for Reba and Ronnie. I did two songs with Reba's band every night and saving my love for you. They took me backstage and did a photoshoot with Reba and Ronnie . Just when we said cheese I was standing by Ronnie and he jobed me in the butt with this thumb and I hollered and jumped real high and he laughed, belly laughed. Not many people get to be jobbed in the butt at a photoshoot with their hero.

I play this song when I'm waiting for my wife to get ready to go out she usually gets a pretty good chuckle out of it and my son thinks it's hilarious

I was born in 1968 and grew up listening to my dads huge vinyl collection and this song is one of my favorites. It brings back great memories of the 70s and 80s.

Ahh, the summer of 1982! Remember it all well. This brand new hit playing on the radio in my 1956 Ford Crown Victoria while cruising around town to and from work. A time when America was still great. A great time to be alive. It truly was a different time, different people, different era, different styles, different values, different country different world. Never to return again.

Country music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are the best. Ronnie Milsap is truly a great singer. He lived an interesting life and did a lot. Look at his autobiography on youtube.
