I would like to hear from a woman in this field who has children and a family. How does that work out? I would love to hear their thoughts.

Hi, I don't know if you know this but to go to a medical school in the U.S you have to be a citizen. However some or most schools do not really care about this aspect. To become a neurosurgery you have to finish med school first, then you should take a general surgery program. I'm pretty sure you don't have to though. Then you need to match into a residency program which could last between 5-8 years. Remember there are different types of neurosurgeons so you might to take an extra couple years to specialize even deeper. NOTE-im not really a person to give information because I'm still in highschool, but I hope this helps. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Actucally it wasnt 2 full days , and the injury was no where near a fatal one, the gun was a lil old 1940s or 50s gun plus only one shoot!! ,this hsppened in 1963 trauma doctors then where equiped to save him but they killed him in hospital from morphine and seconal tranqulizers overdose

If you're talking about Oswald then today's trauma surgeons and technology would have had a very difficult time saving him. When they got into his abdominal cavity they found 3 liters of blood. Oswald's aorta, inferior vena cava, spleen and pancreas all had significant traumatic injuries from the penetrating trauma of the bullet, so the idea that he would have been saved today simply is not true.
