What is the literal meaning of "Sakoot" in "Sakoot-e-Dhaka". Looking up the web it seems "Sakoot" means "Silence". So how does the "Silence of Dhaka" mean the "Fall of Dhaka"? Also why call it the "Fall of Dhaka" and not the "Rise of Dhaka" or "Liberation of Dhaka"? I think there is very strong prejudice in the very nomenclature of the event! To my mind, it was the liberation of an enlightened Majority from the oppression of a bigoted Minority!

As a Kashmiri I agree with my fellow Kashmiri. If I agree with Pak allegations that India crossed international border, then what stopped Pakistani Government not to lodge protest/complaint with International forum. Truth is Punjabi Generals wanted to get of Eastern Pakistan (now BanglaDesh) to have better control of Western Pakistan to make it Garrison state and unfortunately they have succeeded. I salute these pakistani thinkers for calling spade a spade.They both have nicely analysed current scenario and 50 year old event of liberation of Bangladesh.But Pakistan will never learn lesson and will never be on right track.It is like dog's tail .Mr.AjKia and Tar ek Date are also thinkers who always slap pakistan .If Pakistan learn lesson from these people's advice, things may change many things in that country.But Army there is main hurdle.Army is in fool's paradise there.They say that pak army is very strong and brave.Then why they lost all battles against India.Pakistan can not become normal or sane nation. Unless it leaves idea of Muslim umma and cut it's army to its size.

The same time and place were Niazi was speaking to reporters around 1000 feet away Radio Pakistan Broadcasting center was captured by Mukti Bahini . Niazi was bluffing to the reporters.Pakistani media will never stop lying and never will learn.
