my best friend's daughter recently saw Atlantis (shes 7) and shes completely obsessed and wants to sue disney because Kida isn't recognized as a disney princess lol
this is the first time in watching an anya interview and she is sooooo charming and elegant and pretty. i love the way she speaks and holds herself, her humor and riffing with the interview was so fun. when she leaned forward to genuinely ask why he hated blue shells, "im just curious"... honestly made me a fan right there omg
She definitely has cleavage privilege. She rocks this outfit PG-rated when a lot of people wouldn't be allowed into public wearing it, last I've seen was Matt Stone in 2021. So happy she isn't typecast as a witch all the time, too.
Actually, the princess is still white. I dont know why she is not changed to a black princess. This movie is politically incorrect! and need to learn from Netflix and Disney!
That laugh of hers reacting to the shy guy impersonation is the only time where I saw her genuinely laugh out loud without restraint in the past few years of interviews. That's how wholesome this dude was ! Good job, sir !
Nothing against her, but it just wasn't the right role for her. That voice is not even close, but to her credit, she did the best she could considering that. Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong was probably even worse. Cranky Kong bothered me because he was nothing like the character from the games. Everyone else was somewhere between okay and phenomenal, so for the most part they did a great job. I just wish they didn't feel like they *had* to go with these big Hollywood stars when going with voice actors would have been a *much* better option for some of those characters.
@@JMFSpike I loved the interpretation of DK in this movie, it encapsulates what I'd think the OG DK would be like. Seth Rogan nailed it imo and there werent many better choices. Also, wdym by "the voice isnt even close", Peach has a very small array of lines, and the voice we hear in those lines is grating and annoying. Anya as Peach is way less annoying and fits the character better.
She was so nice that she almost hide the fact that she didn't knew anything about Mario Kart. 😂 But hey, she knew how to continue the conversation using stuff she learned from this movie. 👍
@@cesarswc13 At least at that time you can tell she had no idea what she was talking about. Maybe on other interviews she actually got to play. But just hear how she responds when she is ask about content from the game.
I’m a simple man, so I clicked on this video because Anya’s pretty, but I stayed for her personality AND the well-done interview she genuinely seemed to enjoy being a part of. Well done!
Anya mentions she loves Atlantis, Treasure Planet and Anastasia Me: “My Princess, I am at your service” I already loved her in The Witch, Last Night in Soho, Queen’s Gambit, The Northman, The Menú and she killed it as Peach, side by side with Jack Black Have seen nearly all she has been in(except the Playmobile movie….just no) and I am interested in seeing her as Furiosa and seeing more of her as Princess Peach!
She is a pretty lady! Great choices in Animated films, Sword in the Stone and treasure Planet...I wonder if she liked The Black Cauldron as well...she could easily be Princes Eilonwy!
I loved Anastasia growing up. Was one of my favorites as a kid, and I vowed to name my daughter after her one day. I now have a 3 year old daughter named Anastasia Madoline.
Anya and the interviewer are playing Mario Kart and whenever he fires a compliment at her she just has a banana ready to stop it from hitting here :p she's so humble. And that dragon-unicorn idea came to her incredibly fast. She knew the question was coming!
Ya know what, if we could get a brand new type of Draggadon with a huge horn? That would be fantastic. Maybe a bit of a longer body, like a chinese dragon. But flying around on that would be awesome.
