What do you do if you use your mobile phone as the hotspot for your computer? When I connect to the Wifi of my phone to AnyCast I can then no longer broadcast the phone signal to my Laptop for internet. And if I try to connect the Laptop to the anycast, I no longer have internet from my phone. Please help. -Tko
Thank you, I got an Anycast dongle today and I'd been tearing my hear out trying to connect my Motorola G4 phone to it, which it wouldn't do. Your video at least helped me connect my MacBook to it instead, so it wasn't a complete waste of money! My Motorola G4 still won't connect :( Edit: Just found that although I can Airplay my MacBook to my TV, I can't do it with internet WiFi connection, only WiFi connection to the AnyCast dongle. Which is no good for watching internet streaming.
I don't get the wifi to show up like there's no anycast in my wifi list, no ssd name no nothing. So I can't even connect to get it connected to my router. I use Samsung S10+

Hey everybody, I had the same problem 5 minutes ago, you only have to: 1: connect the anycast Key to your pc/phone/tab..etc (it's normal if you Lost your wifi home connection 2:After you have to type the 192.168.49.1/index.html 3:then you have a special page who is showed and you select ''wifi'' ans then connect your Home wifi 👌
Actually it is not trivial indeed to connect the dongle, but the tip of using a latptop or another device to look into the configurations of the device really helps. It is also important to identify the OS (e.g. Android or iOS) of the device we want to cast from, since they use different standards.
One question.. What would be the point of connecting my personal WIFI in airplay mode if i am only using an Android? It works just fine if I simply switch to android mode and then turn on screencast on my phone. Am I missing out on any features by not connecting my personal WIFI to it?
this is getting on my nerves, when I go on www to type in the step 2 code number it comes up THIS WEB PAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE , internet could not load the webpage because 192.168.49.1 took too long to respond. the website may be down or you may be experiencing issues with your internet connection ( which is working perfectly) adding to the fact that I also had to buy an extension cable because the dongle ( that I can't use) was too bulky to plug directly into my TV !!!!!
Showing the connection of cables and wifi stuff would be the relevant part. What is happening at 1:39 ? Whats the purpose of the USB, why would you connect it to the TV? 95% of the TVs have no USB. How do you setup the WIFI? What is the lag? Can you play a game while mirroring to the TV?

. If AnyCast is not working with EZCast App. Please follow the steps below to connect to the home wifi for Internet access. 1. Press the button on the side of the dongle for switching to Airplay/DLNA mode. (Note: some of the AnyCast models no need to swtch modes.) 2. Connect your phone to AnyCast SSID via wifi. 3. Launch your phone browser (Chrome browser/Safari) and enter the URL 192.168.203.1 on URL bar. 4. In setup page, select "Internet" to connect to your home router. Please mirror by EZMira App. For Windows miracast mirroring, please make sure the dongle is in Miracast mode.

if you cant connect to ip then it click forget on connection and try again when you see a popup saying no internet access do you want to continue click yes and that will allow for a connection
you absolutely should change your dongles password after everything is setup. anyone can look up the default password [12345678] which is the same on all of them, log in, and then anyone in range can mooch your wifi, start hacking your router, etc, etc...
the device transfers only u-tube videos, when tv channels are run on smart mobile phone, only audio is transferred, video is not transferred, please enlighten what is required
The website connects me to something that look nothing like the website shown here, it works similar but in the settings the only OS it supports is IOS 11 and 10, it doesn't allow me to switch modes either

I cant get it to work on a friends tv. The dongle picture has the red x above it, unlike this video. So when I go to wifi on my ipad/iphone, it finds it, I type in the password, it takes the Anycast up to my wifi with a tick but then it says theres no internet connection for it (in orange letters). Yet his internet works fine, just the dongle isnt working with it. Is fine with my tv though, which is a smart tv. But the dongle is advertised as not having to have a smart tv to use it. Thats why I bought it. Any ideas how to make the dongle work? Thanks

H K I found the solution on my Droid turbo. I clicked the button on the AnyCast device and then went on my setting and clicked display and all the way in the bottom it said cast

I'm really confused because I've an amazon fire tablet, I have the option of anycast on wifi, but if I choose that, my virgin Internet connection obviously turns off, so how can I go online to type in ip address if my virgin Internet is switched off? 🤔
