I was following along the instructions that came with it, and it said that was the resin vat. Didn't believe it, shit looks like it's pulling the model out of the void. Not at all what I expected, but pretty cool
he so I have a problem with mine do you think you can help me? here's the problem: when I print the test file (the test cube) when it's done, it doesn't come out like yours. so it comes out like a flat-smashed cube. can you help me out because I really wanna 3d print.
Volume of resin? It depends on what model you want to print... But I recommend filling the tray with the maximum volume, this way there will be fewer defects from bubbles)
when you checked the detection, theres three options, you only checked one. do i select the smallest middle or largest. also when you pressed print, you did not pause and set the settings or does this model already have the settings done?
When you save a file in a slicer, it writes the print time and how much resin is needed, but it's better to pour the maximum, so there will be no bubbles and fewer print defects. But do not pour above the MAX. mark. 👌💚
Great video! I'm currently trying to get this (Anycubic Photon Mono 4K) or the Elegoo Mars 3 Pro 4K. Which would you best recommend? I'm a beginner to resin 3D printing and am selling the prints i make.
Thank you!) This is the first and only printer I have, I haven’t worked with others yet, so I can’t compare, but I was completely pleased with the Anycubic Photon Mono 4K and the print quality is good, it’s not difficult to figure out the settings...
@@bggtmaker Hey so I just got the printer and it is showing issues with recognizing my USB drive (it didn't come with one for the printer). I formatted my USB to FAT32 for it to recognize my .pwma files (which I sliced from the Photon Workshop slicer. Yet, the printer does not recognize anything. Have you had an issue like this before?
The kit should have included a flash drive, mostly red... It’s strange that you don’t have one( I transferred files with my other card, there were no problems, the printer saw everything. Did you take a good look at the set? There should be a slicer installer and a test model of the cube for printing on the flash drive... Also, if you are already using another flash drive, make sure that the printer model is correctly specified in the slicer settings!
What was your issue? I got my 13 yr old one for xmas, and we're having issues. The test print doesn't appear to be sticking to the build plate. Wish there were troubleshooting in the user manual!
Hi!) The essence of a 3D printer is as follows. The platform is lowered into the bath to a depth that depends on the thickness of the printed layer. Then a layer of the future model is projected onto it with a laser. Under its influence, the photopolymer hardens, that is, the formation of the part begins. The platform is then lowered to begin forming the second layer. And so on until a three-dimensional model is obtained. After printing is completed, the product is treated with special compounds to remove excess material. At the final stage of work, the part is placed in an ultraviolet chamber, in which it hardens.
Tony, thanks for the comment, sorry for taking so long to reply. The printing time depends on the parameters that you specify in the program, I printed this cube in a few hours, I don’t remember exactly)
@@bggtmaker Unfortunately I managed to damage the screen before I even used mine. I forgot to tighten the build plate screw before I moved the machine. The corner of the bed went into the screen. Anycubic have been really good and have sent a replacement screen for free. Normally £90.00. I have some tempered glass screen protectors to install on the new screen.
@@dustinscott8598 Cheers buddy. I'm all up and running now. The included cube wasn't the best print to be honest. I'm printing at .025 at 1.5 per layer. I'm getting really amazing results now ✌️
