Where are most shops this clean and uncluttered? The terrain changes on a daily basis with parts production and people, lift-trucks and robots transferring parts and materials. I think it's all cool, but not realistic yet until manufacturing has reached the point when there are no people in the way to booger things up.

Hi Matt! Thanks a lot for your comment. Our mission is not to replace humans but rather to keep them out of hazardous and dangerous places. ANYmal runs inspection missions autonomously in places where humans shouldn't usually be like potentially explosive environments. It performs inspection-related tasks. Also, it can monitor facilities changes but no manipulation is possible at this moment. The future? Who knows! Stay tuned 😊

@@ANYbotics why delay the inevitable, you guys should AIM at replacing humans in as many possible way in as many possible chores as you possibly can. Dont let our feelings get in the way of progress especially seeing that you guys are doing anything unethical. If you guys also figure out how to make those things mine crypto or something while they are working that would be pretty dope too

Id say the bot would become more efficient if the paws would be unidirectional round tires, both walking and sliding available. Amazing AI btw.

Why teach an AI robot to climb stairs (always prone to errors) when you can perform the same surveillance tasks faster and more effectively with small drones. These also have light, infrared sensors and distance sensors in order to continue flying independently even if the signal is lost (e.g. in corridors and buildings - the flown route can be saved with centimeter accuracy, which means that a return flight to the starting point is possible even without a signal.

Thank you for the question. Drones have their advantages in some areas but they also lack the reach: For example, the battery life and therefore the time of inspections is limited. The ideal case is that quadrupeds like ANYmal and Drones work together for some missions

@@ANYboticsrange can easily, and cheaply, be overcome by deploying multiple drones from multiple locations all operating in parallel subdividing the task and so not just overcoming the range issue but also completing the task much faster.

Hello Sir/Madam. I am interested in the technology in your videos on the YT channel. Can I repost some of your videos on my page? I will include the source without you having to pay...

Does it support motion amplification camera
@ANYbotics
@ANYbotics Год назад
No, the cameras on ANYmal are standard 4k visual and thermal. Your idea would need to be integrated as a custom payload

@@ANYbotics that will be a game changer if you can integrate it, getting approvals will be a challenge
