Anyone Can Level to 70 in Remix in 2 Hours! 

Just a minor tip that some may find helpful - In between waiting for queues, fly around collecting the glowing orbs. They have a chance to give experience threads and it does add up. A good place for a high density of orbs is the lake area near Binan Village. Try to kill any rares you come by as well as they have a chance to drop experience threads! Just thought I would throw that out there.

i've watched 100 of these "level up quick in remix" videos and boy was i excited for another one and even MORE excited when i saw Hazel made it! pumped, here we go!

Being older, most of the time I do not have any idea what you are talking about but I do pick up little things along the way. I am subscribed and alway listen to what you say. Thank you for what you do, it is just over my head most of the time, but that is ok, I learn.

Remix Loot Filter is an addon as well now, that way you still get autoloot for bronze etc but not picking up xp

I may try this method close to the end, but right now I'm leveling through dungeons and raids. I'm really enjoying Remix. My other toons were abandoned in Valdraken KKKKKKKK

I used this method to level 5 different alts to 70 in about ~3 hours each.. It was worth it, because otherwise I wouldn't enjoy leveling through so many times. Thank you for sharing, first time viewer, subscribed!

Followed the steps and it worked well. Thanks Hazel! I did fall short at Level 68, but I can recommend using the Historian quest on the Timeless Isle to get insane amounts of XP for one question (plus a little gold). It took me three days at just an hour or so a day, but still, what a rush! It's taken me a few days to catch up stat wise, but I'm doing it for the bronze and for a fun new alt to play in War Within, so I'm not concerned about maxing stats.

You can now stop the guide & loot the xp earlier. I did a few toons with these results: 1st one followed the whole guide & had a ton of xp tokens still in mail - 2nd toon followed guide until lvl 30 -> looted xp with 76% cloak but ended lvl 62 (though 62-70 was just a few extra dungeons), 3rd did until lvl 32 -> looted xp with 100% cloak & ended lvl 69, 4th looted xp at lvl 35 100% cloak & had still some xp in mail. With all of them did a couple dungeon quests + two of the LFG dailies you get from the bazaar. So you just need to do some dungeons -> MSV -> more dungeons if not high enough lvl + cloak not 100% until prob lvl 33-34 - takes maybe ~2hr or less if lucky with good groups

Thanks so much for posting this. My first character took about 4 and a half hours, but my second one took 1 hour 56 minutes! Crazy efficient. The mailbox addon is SUPER helpful because now it tells you when you should cash in your XP tokens. I just did it after completing Heart of Fear at level 35, and went to 70. Thanks again!

I only started playing World of warcraft about a week before this came out. It has taken me this whole time to level my character in remix. I am going to try this and see how long it takes a newer player with not alot of experience to do. I've heard of this method for a while now and I've tried it unsuccessfully 3x because I didn't know what I was doing. No one has broken it down on exactly _how_ to do it properly. I am currently working on a 4th toon and I have about 70 rare level xp tokens in my mail ready to open. He's level 43 but his cloak is only at 153% so I think I just need to knock out the regular raids and he might be ready to give this a shot! Thanks for the detailed explanation and the addon reco.

Took me like 3-4 hours to level up to 70 solo q-ing as a holy paladin, without using a 2nd account or anything. Even starting at 3am it was still a breeze. Can’t wait to make some more characters and get them to max level this week 😊

I waited until 620% exp gain on my alt before looting the exp; suffice it to say, I overshot it by a bit.. 😅🙈

After watching this video, I eagerly downloaded Remix Mail Helper, rolled a new toon, and got to work. Of course, I forgot that I have the attention span of a mayfly and the resistance of Dumbo at a Planters plant, so I accidentally picked up an XP token or two. No problem, I thought, I'm sure I can make it up somewhere down the line. After finishing ToES at 40, I went to my mailbox, hit Open Mail, and watched as my new toon's level shot up all the way...to 68. So close...but hey, it's only two levels. I'll just run a couple of Heroic dungeons and... If this were a movie, this would be the part where you'd hear the record scratch and the narrator mention how bad of an idea that was. There I was, dying to gain two stinkin' levels and getting one-shot by air while wearing the armor equivalent of Bounty paper towels and a few rubber bands. Shamed, I finished the dungeon very carefully and went out to quest for the last two levels. But hey, I got to 70 in way less time than I would've otherwise, and only four other players know of my futile attempt to kill mobs with a Popsicle stick and prayers. Just done this method but only done heroics, I managed 10-70 in 2 hours 10 minutes. I probably could have done less than 2 hours as I was afk a short while. Thanks a million for the video. Huge help.

I've tried this twice today. Never gotten close to two hours (although the second one was under 4). Obviously having friends or some kind of preparation helps. However, the biggest issue is that both times when I used the xp tokens it didn't take me to 70! First one got me to 69, and second one got me to 68! Very frustrating.

it's a good idea to make sure you get your rings / necklace / trinkets via achievements on a character BEFORE you open all of the XP. Once you open the XP and jump to level 65-70, you're going to be severely underpowered, unable to do damage and getting oneshot because of the gear / ilvl scaling. At that point you can pay pretty cheap bronze to catch up your lower level gear

YOU CAN DO THIS FASTER!!! Dungeon to 25, Run MSV - Use XP tokens in Mail to hit 35 EXACTLY, Run Heart of Fear - XP tokens from mail to EXACTLY 40, then run Terrace of Endless Springs - Collect and PERFECTLY hit 70. Just did this in 1hr 58m as Paladin tank! Also make a custom raid yourself so you can grab at least 1 carry for the raids! ( :

I just did this and it was good to get a character to 70 and they get there with about 60,000 bronze, but without the gear progression from 40-70 and with how the scaling works, you suddenly realize that everything is one shotting you. Good for getting an alt ready for War Within and a character who can grab a bunch of cosmetics.

I had a feeling this would be a decent leveling acceleration strategy, but I really didn't expect it would be this much faster!

So tip for people who don't plan on playing these chars post Remix (as in, you are leveling a 70 for the quick bronze to buy stuff) Make a priest, spec holy. Do a few heroics until you complete the daily and get a decent chunk of bronze. Buy tinkers from the RNG vendor till you get Searing Light. The one that does damage based on healing. Then just spam holy nova (you have to spec it, can pick it up immediately) and you will be blasting DPS in dungeons. In the early levels, you will likely be carry levels of dps. Then if you don't get it naturally before 25, buy meta till you get Ward. Now you can full carry raids and dungeons easily. If you don't know how to Ward, find the highest hp level 70. Hit the boss at least once (have to enter combat first). Use ward on them, and spam heals on them. As soon as the buff disappears, go back to spamming holy nova. You likely will also be top dps and bosses will essentially die after the ~8 or so seconds it takes ward to go off. Congrats, you are now the carry. I do suggest looting (manually) everything you can minus the exp tokens. You want to keep up with gear too. I would suggest upgrading anything with the discount as you loot higher ilvl things. Also try to keep up with gems on gear. Use Narcisus to make it easy, just upgrade gems in your inventoy, remove them with the Narcisus ui and readd them and it will make sure to always use the best ones. I went for a good mix but you want haste more than anything, and the other 3 evenly. They all help a ton, even mastery because of Ward. This doesn't really stop being OP till near 50 which I did cause I overshot the guide. If you just go to 45 you will be a blaster the whole time. Loot your mailbox to 70, make a new priest, and repeat. Easy 100k+ bronze every 3ish hours. It makes sure dungeons are faster but you will lose a bit of time doing all the prep to stay strong. I found that I got good at looting without grabbing the exp quick enough to not fall too behind. Besides, if they are that far ahead after you take 5 seconds to loot, they are blasting harder than you so who cares.

More like 4 hours unless you've got a lvl 20 twink blasting you through everything

You can use the addon Autolooter and ban the experience items from looting. so you dont need to pay attention.

just did it in 3h50m with no help (some janky dungeons and raids) and don't think it will get faster than this without help. That said, still faster than the 6-7 hours it would take the normal way

I'll miss when in a day or so when this ends. I've loved "remix" more than any other time in WoW, since except maybe 2006, which is the year that I first started playing. Things were so fun back then because it was during the tail of vanilla, when it was easier to make friends in the game and I can remember adventuring in the game's different zones with a few special people. That time was the most fun I EVER had in any video game.

So, I tried this method out and it works like a charm. Using this method, I've leveled over 10 characters in the last couple of weeks. And that's just playing it casually. [golf clap]

This is the best level cheese I've found. It took about 4 hours for me because of queue times and spending time in between dungeons to sort some of my mail to keep my ilvl at a semi respectable number. But for an alt farmer, still 100% worth it

I watched this video for a minute and twenty two seconds before I had to stop it. I've levelled 24 Alliance alts since Remix started. I'm clocking in under 2 hours per alt, and the only catch is how you spend those 2 hours. 10-25: Heroic Dungeons 25-35: Mogu'Shan Vaults Normal 35-40: Mou'Shan Vaults + Heart of Fear Normal 40-70: Mou'Shan Vaults + Heart of Fear + Terrace of the Endless Spring Normal By the time I hit 70, my XP Bonus is nearing 800%. On average, a freshly rolled Timerunner hits Lvl 28-30 in 30 minutes, then I put in about 10-20 minutes a day over a few days. That's it - instead of grinding two hours, it's 30 mins your first day, then an average of 15 minutes a day for approximately 4 more days. With the buff to Bronze acquisition, a typical 10-70 accumulates about 120k Bronze this way. You'll be able to buy every single Infinite Bazaar item easily.

step 1: turn off auto-loot step 2: level 10-25 in RHD, should be 8 dungeons. DONT LOOT ANYTHING step 3: run normal MSV at 25, loot the xp thread and nothing else step 4: level 25-35 in RHD step 5: run normal HOF at 35 step 6: run 36-40 in RHD step 7: run TOES step 8: get all the xp buffs step 9: get all dem xp bonuses from the mail

funny this still works, was planning to max a character to get some rewards before it ends and did it in one day. i'd say just loot everything already.. the sooner you unlock the raids the better. she doesn't mention it but the reason normal raids are so important it's because they give way more permanent XP bonus than LFR. (LFR only gives like 7% for a full run)

Just tried this myself. I was level 47 to start with 337% on cloak. I had about 8 basic XP (Blue) left in my mailbox when I dinged 70. Did all 3 raids. Heroic dungeons up to said level and grabbed some XP on the side as well. You definitely need to be higher than level 40 if you plan on going on all the way between 300% - 350% on cloak. Edit : also took about 4 hours, not 2.

thanks for the guide, took me 3 hours 19 minutes on the first go and the whole thing gave me 75k bronze in total, not too bad!

If you're bored of dungeons, after the first raid, you can replace dungeons by doing LFR. They still drop purple xp tokens, are done just as fast, and give 7% xp buff per wing. After you finish normal MSV, because you're still low level, you don't need that much XP to level up. So what you can do is open up your mailbox, and manually click just enough of the tokens to open up the next raid. Do both normal and lfr and so on.

I've just about finished leveling my 6th timerunner. I'm ready for some mix up to how I've been doing it. I'll have to try this way with number 7.

Another option, if you're doing a large number of alts, if to just do raids on as many as you can muster, don't look the XP, and go to the next one. Last week was super busy for me, so I really just grabbed the quest, did Mogu'shan normal, and logged out. By the time I could play for more than an hour again, I had like 500% bonus xp; and basically gained a level each dungeon boss or every couple of quests I did.

Tried this earlier today. Took me about 6 hours and ended up about 80% through level 69. I'd still say that's pretty sweet.

This type of leveling is VERY fun, it’s nothing like classic but it gets you up to speed for retail

Thanks for the method! I recommend leveling till about 45 with this though. Still, I leveled my mage to lvl 68 in about 3 hours during this method. Was fun being the highest dps in the charts aswell, and then being the lowest dps for the last level 😂 wonky scaling

Tip to optimize this strat. Keep a level 10-19 in your group for heroic dungeons queues. That way you get the same 4 dungeons. Which are actually the best 4 anyways. Scholo, scarlet halls, monestary and temple of jade serpent. Scholo and temple you can leave your guy at the entrance and collect all experience and loot from bosses in the mail. All can be done in 3-5 minutes tops. Even if you have to make a trial acct just to get another toon to stay in the 10-19 range its worth it. This coupled with a 20 twink or 476 ilvl will bring your times closer to an hour, then 2

This was going well until the first raid. I ran it ok and received a lot of experience boost threads. But, then I was locked out. So, I cant run the Vaults again till tomorrow. Back to Heroic Dungeons. Chasing the achievement for the extra trinket. SO, I watched this again and again. And realised Hazel is saying to just run the raid once before going back into heroic. Anyway, it all worked like a charm. I even had a few xp bonusses nore than I needed to get to 70. Thanks. Already started on my next alt.

It's even quicker in prepatch. I spam heroics until 25 to 27 as a tank and don't loot anything. I dont do any quests. At 25-27, I do Mog Vaults. I log out of that alt for the day and come back the next day after reset to do Mog Vaults a second time. Use the No Bonus XP add on to loot the XP threads at the mailbox first, and then the tokens will get you to 70. It's about an hour. Patience pays dividends...

This is a fantastic way to get up. I feel like it took me forever on my first toon. Several days in fact. But with how fast it is, im still sitting around waiting for the queue to pop and orginizing my bags/talents/gems/gear. I dont know how you got 2 hours

Use the Autolooter addon and add these 4 ids to the black list 224408 220763 224407 220764 then you can just loot on the fly and leave the exp behind!

It finally makes sense. I've seen a few guild mates fly from 50 to 70 in a few seconds. I was curious, but I didn't want them to have to snitch on themselves.

crazy how well this works! i did a few more heroics becuase i got into a few good groups and they blasted them so i over shot it but worked great!!

Yay for the hazelnutty way. It does work but not as fast as two hours if queues aren't instant. Rolled a DPS. It took me 4 hours and 40 minutes (I did it during the day so queue times were less than optimal). To bridge the cap that comes with being a DPS, I did queue for MV through LFR, so it got me more XP and more experience threads. I used all the XP tokens at level 40 with an experience buff of 340%. I didn't have to worry about not being a high enough level.

Just checked and this can still be done now at same rates pretty much, although I was able to get 70 from level 36 based on the 198% xp multiplier on my cape

Just did this exactly and i didnt quite make it to 70. Followed the video exactly and i ended up at 69 (1%), EXP bonus on cloak was 314% and it took me 4 hours and 48 minutes as a DH tank. Still not bad i guess.

The Forums are blowing up about people afk'ing with their extra acct in Dungeons. Will not be long till it's banned. All wow has to do is turn off Trial accts for Remix and that's all folks. Take advantage before it's patched.

Non LFR raids are essential, I tried this using them and my cloak was around 200 by level 42. popping my xp items took me into 60. seems like a solid method though if you can get quick queues

That addon you mentioned... that's a game changer. I can't tell you how many times I mindlessly just accidentally shift-click a dead boss to loot everything and then smack myself for doing it. Next I wonder if there will be an addon to prevent looting the XP from bodies altogether.

3:46 - 'From having leveled a cloak on a character earlier?' So this won't work if it's your only toon, and you left out the huge step of having to have already leveled a toon?

There must be some RNG involved or it's been nerfed because I'm lvl 46 and my XP% on the cloak is only 140 (I do have Infinite power 12). I've used every thread I've looted :( My RNG luck in this game is consistently horrible, so that's one reason I think that :) Edit: The gold threads for xp% gain in the raids now say 7%.

I’m in the process of doing this for the first time. I just finished my run of MSV at 25 having looted all of the threads and done all of the instructions thus far. For some reason, the experience percentage buff on my cloak is only 48%. Did I do something wrong? I noticed that there are two different instances under MSV that I can queue up for, do I need to run them both?

I've done this a couple of times now. It does take me a little longer than 2 hours, especially if queuing as DPS. Even opening XP from my mail at level 46 got me only to level 66. What I'm trying is to get to Level 35, run Heart of Fear, then put it away for a day. The next day, re-run normal Mogushan Vaults and Heart of Fear. The extra XP% from those bosses should put me at a better place to maximize the XP enough to slingshot me to 70. Less "real" time, but it happens on day 2.

-after hitting 70 the gear was way under what is needed to do pretty much anything, but a few heroic dungeons fixed it -the cloak is the elephant in the room, i was way under what's needed to run content, in dungeons i did far less damage than a healer and so squishy even a minor add could could easily kill me, i don't know how long it will take to upgrade the cloak to a decent level -good way to get lots of bronze i had just under 66k -was excellent fun getting to 70

you can use an trial version on your same account , so you got a lev 20 char , which you can pimp in about 2 hours investment ,farming acm , getting traits... at this point you can solo run hc , and inv ,your main acc char , u just need one subscription , and you can boost yourself pretty fast, only think to notice ,pay attention which faction your booster and your twinks are... nother tip or remind , as i lootet at 45 i overnuked far beyond level 70 ...i wonder if its smarter to go for it directly after heart with around 270% bonus ep , iam not sure if its enough but from the feeling it seems like enough at this point or maybe 3 more hc inis more which is around 2 min each ...leveling 10levels ,playing the spring raid , is maybe time you can spare

I did it in 3hr 18min. Cloak threads were just not dropping. I had a high powered level 70 tank who helped blaze me through so it was fast.

if i bloody new that my toon would be locked out of retail till 2 days before it goes live and with only boost gear i would of never leveled in remix what's the point of given us the ability to level up our gear to max item level to just have the item level reduced below pvp gear lol

Something worth noting is queing heroics with a lvl 20 or lower is a really good idea as you get to skip, siege of niuzao temple which is substantially slower then every other dungeon due to the second bosses long rp.

Got main toon to level XII on the threads and 2nd toon did everything you mentioned and got to 175% exp and used up all the xp at level 42 and got up to 61 after a few hours

Are you upgrading your gear and gems between dungeon runs or do you just go straight through with the base gear you get at lvl 10?

Remix Loot Filter (No Experience Pickup) is an addon that was set to do the looting instead of waiting for mailbox.
