Soda used to be much cheaper, but for some reason, soda companies have recently been raising their soda prices really quick. So yeah. My soda consumption has gone down considerably, but it hasn't stopped entirely. If I do buy soda, I do the same thing you do. I buy the expensive soda and then buy cheap generic soda to fill in that surgery gap and to trick my mind into thinking I bought 2 for $6 instead of 1 for $8.49
