This is very untrue , they live quite long time, normally between 14-16 years , very uncommon heart problems and breathing is quite good if It is a health tested breeding with healthy parents. Good breeders are so important to keep any breed healthy . Bad breeders,in any animal, could produce badly, but people need to understand that breeding well is not cheap
