This is one man that makes me keep having appreciable amount of reservation when about to be compelled to make blanket Judgement about the Yorubas.......You are indeed, a Lover of Humanity.
Teju Babyface has held me hostage with his podcasts. In one day, I've watched about 4 episodes. You ate my entire weekend, but I'm glad because you bring so much value with your interviews
The great man of this generation who is not afraid to say his mind in public affairs and political commentary. Dele Farotimi is the only one who has the fearless charisma of Chief Gani Fawehnmi.
its just a shame that our country is decaying gradually and if one talks they will what to shout u up... Mr Dele Farotimi God will continue to bless you and keep telling everyone that will hear the truth.
Nigeria-Oil producing country losing the entire value in the value chain… ooouuch😢 that sunk real deep. Much respect from kenya🇰🇪 . Dele Farotimi cannot be ignored.
Uncle Dele we are proud of you an intelligent guru. I subscribe to this because of you. Your pain for bad governance is well appreciated by all Nigerians. May God protect you. Continue with your crusade for a New Nigeria. We believe in God it shall come to pass. Amen. We love you.
I will never accept that there is no hope for the nation regardless of how bad things are. Truth is there are millions of souls in this nation who are never going to leave, deliberately or not. I salute them all and wish them the best.
There's hope for Nigeria. People enjoy negativity and will rather die complaining about their government than think and proper solutions. I choose not to join in cursing my country and its leaders. I rise above it now and forever. Every country has its difficulties, no where is perfect
I can listen to him over and over again, and the few times I have had opportunity of meeting him, I tell him how much I respect him. Keep being you Mr Dele Farotimi! Nigeria is blessed with men like you who dare to speak out in love of your country
They can sue him, but won't, because it's a waste of time. There's nothing to be benefited from suing him. The man is always talking abrasively and nothing positive comes out of it. In this interview, he has said many things that are actionable, but no one literally has the time to waste suing him.
They can sue him; but keep him on the outside and that can suffice for them!!! Besides- truth in the Courts (though compromised!) could be too disastrous!!!
@@MrMethodist The truth is bitter. Most Nigerians prefer to hear empty sweet words. Just because a man speaks the truth does not mean he is negative. When a parent scolds a child does that mean the parent wants the worse for the child?
You are merely listening to someone waffling and throwing tantrums to the gallery. Must we burn down the house just because we want to light the cigarette? Advise your children to study hard and perhaps lady luck will smile on them and do the change Nigeria needs. Crossing Sahara desert, and deserting jobs and selling their properties to go abroad and be enslaved will do Nigeria no good. My one cent sir.
@@MaryKoehne Nigeria is NOT gone. Of course, the situation of the country isn't helped when the likes of you keep running it down. Prosperity is already on it's way; brewing quietly underground and will return to NGR soon; whether you choose to be a part of it or not.
It’s a good thing you a fellow Yoruba says so! Heaven knows, if I say anything to the contrary- it’s because I’m tribalistic!!! One’s proud to call themselves Nigerian- with brains, Boldness and application like his
I grew up in Lagos with the mentality that people like Dele Giwa and Dele Farotimi are worthy of the "Omoluabi" title. So it was a huge shock to then see some of the same elders who beat this into my morality in church and my neighbourhood now calling Tinubu the thief an "Omoluabi" because of the expectation of crumbs falling from his table. Make no mistake, I will never falter in my understanding of who to call Omoluabi. Dele Farotimi ni Omoluabi
Wow! Agba oni tan lorile oo, AMIN🙏🏾 Mr. Dele, ese, e ku ohun💖 There is no one that pass through Fela Anikulakpo Kuti, who is not revolutionary in nature. I’m proud to say that I’m one of the students of Fela’s shrine. But my in ability to accept GOD given purpose, or the lack of courage to speak up against the powerful people in Nigeria, has ended up messing with my mental health; unlike brother Dele Farotimi who is courageously insane to defend birth rights as a Nigerian, I on the other hand, has now realistically become cowardly insane, because I’m afraid of what people would say, and the inevitable, death. Brother Olateju, I appreciate what you are using your platform to do. May GOD continue to increase you in the mighty name of our LORD, JESUS CHRIST, AMEN🙏🏾🌸
I’ve been saying this same thing for months. I watched Venezula crumble to its knees. An oil rich country that became disastrous, at some point, a large portion of the Venezuelan population couldn’t afford to buy Bread to eat. The Venezuelan Bolívar (currency) became useless. The same trajectory the Nigerian Naira is on. This is very scary. Our country’s problem runs deep. Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause And guide our leaders right . Help our youth the truth to know 🙏🏽.
Venezuela followed a Marxist system of operating the economy. And of course Marxism has been proven to not be able to stand. Nigeria, on the other hand, is supposed to be free market economy but corruption, criminal leaders with no vision other than embezzlement and supporting the political elites in keeping that wealth for themselves. What is wrong with Nigeria is plain to see and inevitable to how we are ruled.
I came across this man today on RU-vid and it didn't take more than five minutes for me to be convinced and subscribe to his videos. This is the kind of man i want to listen to. Thank You, Sir Dele Farotimi.
Any right thinking Nigerian should try and listen to this man. He's an honest and brave man. The evil ones will be trying to eliminate him. I love listening to him.
This is the best sermon i have heard all week!!! I pray for Peter Obi and his support made of ppl like you Sir. May God help us realise our part to play in birthing the new Nigeria.
As a kenyan, after watching this interview, I now understand why many Nigerians have run into kenya, many of us wonder why they left such a rich country with so much oil, but they are simply escaping from a failed state, south Africans should go easy on them.
Thank you Boda Olateju for uploading this video, God bless you sir. It’s always a pleasure listening to the words of wisdom by Uncle Dele, God will continue to protect, guide and guard you in all ways. More wisdom, knowledge and Understanding!
what i liked most about uncle ferotimi is the self confidence ,i got that too....people don't feel comfortable around me either for saying the truth and fearless but pray we don't die in the process of making good impact in our society...God will continue to straighten you
Mr Dele is effortlessly sound, I could listen to him all day. His verbiage, views and reasoning ability are worth emulating. I will like to use the Senegal election as a landmark to assure Nigerians that the change we deserve is near. The African people are wiser and smarter.Relatively speaking, any person above the age of 50 has no business running for an election.
Age unless there is a serious health issue is NOT THE PROBLEM. I like to refer to the age old football saying if you are good enough you are old enough. In the context of Nigeria using your flawed reasoning about no one over the age of 50 has no business running for election. Character, Vision and Aptitude is what is needed.
@@gerardonochie3408 The world is evolving rapidly, many countries are beginning to support younger, educated and vibrant candidates for president. We are tired of voting analog politicians who can hardly operate an iPhone. Ain’t you tired of maladministration? Ain’t you tired of embezzlement? Ain’t you tired of the living condition of most Nigerians? It is time for older politicians to retire bcos we’ve seen enough, they have nothing to offer!
That interview was thought-provoking. A lot came out of that conversation. My takeaway is that if we do not come out to ask for good governance, things will be far worse in Nigeria than it is currently.
Bro. God has made you the Plain Truth Speaking Personality you are, as against the Gang of Thieves Masquerading as Politicians in Nigeria. Remain Blessed Sir.
The people that criticize this man and fail to see that his part of the few still keeping the sanity of some Nigerians. If people like this wish to align with the govt, dont you think they will be up with top politicians sharing our resources. Same people that hails fela today were his critics in time past. Just see the truth in what he's saying.
Dele Farotimi and very few of his likes stands out. A very brilliant individual. I’ll never get tired listening to him. And Teju welcome to Houston, no wonder you’ve not been so active on the local scene. You made a very wise decision to relocate with your family. I wish you the best
Thank you sirs! I have sought an opportunity to say Thank you sir for every truth you have said, that we feel irrespective of our ethnic differences. Thank you for explaining who we are again as Nigerians. I pray we can correct our ills.
Awesome interview. If you call Mr Farotimi 100 times, I will hear him more than 100 times. Thank you sir. Thank you Teju. May the Lord bless you all. E se a dupe.
Wow! 1:05:40 - 1:07:30 is exactly the prophecy of the current protest. And this man says he's not a prophet. Uncle Dele, thank you for shining your light
How great it will be for many Nigerians to speak up the way this man does. Nigerians think that they are living by keeping quiet and accepting rubbish and not realising that they are dying slowly. I respect this man and I believe that he’s a chosen one.
Thank you so much Sir, thank for giving us hope constantly we are proud you our generation will remain grateful for your fearless, courageous and sincerity
Wow ! I actually listened all through to this interview 😊 God bless brother Dele tremendously. Well done, Teju 👌👌👌 part of those that have acted wisely long ago😂😅😅. I still wonder and imagine survival in a place called Nigeria esp if not a politician or linked to any political rogues or wealthy by any means. Because no matter the "source," they will still protect you. Sad reality !
