The Holy Spirit, not angels was given by the Lord to guide the New Testament believer and to strengthen him with the Life/Power of God for fighting the battles of the Lord against the hosts of Satan. Angelic warfare on the earth in the New Testament times negates the intent of the release of the Holy Spirit and power to believers at Pentecost.
