I turned 18 recently and that feeling of leaving everything behind, your school, that "one" person, all those feelings you felt everyday. Its just too difficult to leave everything so easily. I hope that even after so many years, there is that innocence and life to it. Good bye🌺

the best i've seen on the internet today

this video causes me sm pain but is simultaneously beautiful. it makes me nostalgic for my teenage years which mostly bought nothing but pain. my mum was diagnosed with cancer when I was 14, while I was being abused by an adult i thought i loved. my mum died when I was 17 and i continue to blame myself even though logically i know it wasn't my fault. it's easy to forget i'm not dead, and charlie's monologue hits so close to home. (0:36) i turned 19 last year, and am off to uni next year. i can only hope that my 20's are kinder, and as i try and face what has happened, that i get to know myself better. this video gives me hope that things will be easier, although never easy. i'm trying to enjoy my last year of being a teenager haha thank you again
