All guns game: Most factions: “I own a musket for home defence…” Skaven: “Sir you just blew up, exploded half of our army with a nuke!!” “Yes! YESSS!! YEEEESSSSS!!!”
@@Enislayer It'd be extremely hard to pull off since you need like 5 turns of near-max discoverability. Even a single discovery building in your capital would prevent it from being possible
I was watching the livestream when Kaiizrr got eliminated, I could feel the pain in his voice, it’s never fun to loose in a situation where if you realized what was happening you could have prevented it. Props to him for coming out to play. I wish I had a solution in my own games to reduce the sting of player elimination or make it so no one needs to be kicked out of playing. If you guys figure out one please let me know. Great video in any case!
going for armored Kossar spam as a RANGED UNIT was wild They make for great melee units Spam >Armor Piercing< Streltsi with the might of a faction united economy. HE KNEW HE WAS UP AGAINST DWARVES not a single Little Grom in sight.
Gotta say Okeanos was the unexpected mvp of the whole thing. Ikit cheese aside. With the exception of Riggs and Mak, who just got screwed over by the cpus harassing them and weren't given much time to expand. Okeanos just straight up played better than everyone else and made better decisions on the campaign map. He didn't make any of the bad decisions that the others were guilty of like overextending on the map, having bad army comps with no tactics to compensate, not stashing one or two armies at the capital to defend against backdooring. Just overall great performance. Considering how strong Malakai and Elspeth can get. I say Ikit's Workshop and Skaven tech isn't as op as it used to be in isolation. Also all these guns but no Chaos Dwarfs? Honestly Scott could've picked them up and still have fights with the others, such as Malakai and Ungrim. That way Nuln could've really strut their stuff.
I mean overall he was just pretty safe and no one could really threaten him. The campaign happened perfectly for him to win because it meant no one could touch him. Everyone who would've been a threat was in other wars. The only person close enough to kill him was myself but Aranessa is not beating ikit. I tried but the power difference is insane
This channel kind of resurrected my desire to play Warhammer 3 again after I watched your videos, have almost completed a campaign with every faction now! :D
I feel like that format would probably be a bit more fun if you weren't allowed to rush an opponents capital in the first 10 or 15 turns to help some factions that have a slower early game or bad access to starting units get off the ground.
Kinda feeling bad for the Kislev player having to deal with exclusively dwarfs with no armor piercing 😅. I'm pretty sure there was simply not enough time to get streltsi.
Also seems a little dirty that the two hosts tag teamed him. Gotta love those "FFAs" where the two buddies have a secret alliance before the game starts. Reminds me of 1997 age of empires lol.
@@Metslinen Maybe he could have done it If he would have gone for Twohanded? I mean that would have been more damage than with just Shooting at him... but i don't know If that's against the Rules
I think a fun multiplayer war could be like one side has the deceivers and the other has skaven or something similar then each side also has a team member that has normal strong holds I don’t know how exactly that would work but I think it would be fun to watch
I find it hilarious how their in-game political tension and diplomacy matches that of real humans and so they show exactly why wars happened so often and that it's just our nature
This content is undisputed the best WH3 content its so entertaining i feel like i could watch it forever because of its creativity and the people involved in the videos'
Love the vids. One suggestion though is that when the players are talking you should use the lords they are playing as to represent them to make it slightly easier to follow as it can be difficult to distinguish based of warhammer sigils.
It always feels like an eternity waiting for the next vid, but always so worth it😂 always get reminded why I love this game watching (and rewatching) yalls videos!
Very entertaining, I always love to see a head to head campaign from you guys! That said... this only reaffirms my absolute f'ing hatred for the skaven. They're so overpowered in any role that they want to engage in.
to be honest I was not surprised on the narrative campaigns result when I hear it the rules and saw the faction in play, but if Aranessa had won the campaign that would have been a surprising twist, but I still enjoyed this episode as always
I always enjoy your content dudes! If ever you're stuck for ideas, maybe the same sort of game but regicide? If your leader character gets taken out, you lose [must always be in play, assassination allowed!]
I mean Malakai gets plenty of good units. Same for Nuln. I'm honestly surprised that no one picked up the Chaos Dwarves. Ikit cheese aside. Okeanos just straight up played better than everyone else and made better decisions on the campaign map. He didn't make any of the bad decisions that the others were guilty of like overextending, having bad army comps with no tactics to compensate, not stashing one or two armies at the capital to defend against backdooring.
That’s true, but I think it could have been the fact all of them were relatively close so you didn’t need to go a massive ways to fight. Like someone could have picked Noctulas to have a SUPER defensive capital and Gallows Giants but they were farther away(close to the donut)
@@slywhemwick8071 True, but that didn't stop the Skaven player completely devouring Bretonnia. I think the real problem is most of them rushed each other rather than trying to build up and actual economy.
So.. is Ikit the best ranged faction? I mean.. malakai's cannons are death machines with the grapple shot, and the new Empire lord has the gunnery school..
Would've lost. I have a weakness to fire (Skaven early game is flame throwers). No siege attackers until mortars. And no magic as per the rules. I was NOT winning against ikit
Ngl its impressive how long karl franz lasted even tho he has little to no guns at start and is just worse than elspeth when it comes to amount of blasting potential he can have
The ending doesn't surprise me. If Elspeth doesn't have a lot of time to scale up, she's the weakest faction in guns only, and Ikkit has always been busted as all hell. Malakai could have challenged him purely through artillery superiority (really the only way to counter ikkit with guns only), but being repeatedly hobbled before he could get his economy and unit tier rolling...yeah.
