I would honestly wrap the plugs in electrical tape and add plastic tubing. My last set of headlights went out due to a bit of water getting in on the left side. I made sure the made the clip noise and water still got in. Just my opinion on keeping your headlights working in the long run!
your truck has a front lift, did this model came with headlight leveling? if not. did you level the old and now the new headlights? otherwise it will not light up the road properly, i believe tundras have a manual leveling in the cabin
how is the spread of light from low beams on these vs the stock lights? I've heard these have a pretty narrow throw with not a lot of peripheral light.
Update on the headlight? Aftermarket lights though awesome, worry me because even the better brands such as Morimoto can fail and I would imagine the OEM headlights are Koito, which should last the life of the vehicle.
For both of you, I hope this isn't late. Anzo is selling these now, They can come with a full package/combo, for a lower price (including the headlights, taillights, and DRL vent lights, otherwise known as the ones you are referring to.) Hope this helped!
