I’m a proud mother of two Marines. One in California, other in North Carolina. I truly believe Marines training starts at home. The support we give them after means everything. Grandson’s of a First Sargent.
Alex K. Commissioned Officer of any rank will alway outranked any enlisted member. However, experience otherwise 2LT will know better than to not hear the advice of those who serve
@@princeangelobaybayan722 or do PLC, you enlist in the reserves and do college at the same time and it gets payed for by the marines, you commission after and you had real experience as a marine
@Adeline Simmons nope, Mustangs that switch to the darkside start at the bottom as an O1E. Very few get commissioned as an O3 from the start. The only O's I knew that did that were doctors
Nick Reid hey I'm 16 too. I'm going to be going to OCS in the form of PLC when I'm in collage. I plan to go as an infantry officer and if given the chance go into force reconnaissance.
Nick Reid Word of advice devil pup, pursue OCS. Enlist as a reservist, and attend a university that has a marine ROTC program. That way, you have bottom of the barrel enlisted experience, a college education, and you’ll be an officer. Do not go active duty enlisted, and do not be an 1833. YATYAS
2lts are literal backbone of military. They are the conduit between enlisted and higher commissioned ranks. As such captains are the most important officer rank and the relationship between them makes or breaks the frontlines.
