Hongki has voiced his opinion on why they can't play live, you can tell when they aren't playing live because they aren't moving about they're just staying in their remote spot. If you want to see any of fnc play their instruments you will have to watch video's of concerts or show cases and special shows. When they're going all over and not staying still that's when they are playing. It's also because the speakers to plug in and all take time and they need to come on play and leave to save time

Actually, they are playing , they know how to play but the instrumental don't come from their live performance like for all the instruments on this kind of music show and to be honest I don't really care because they are cool playing and singing haha I like this song, AOA fighting!

Sometimes I think the bass guitar is a little big for Minah because she's so cute and small. And she always reminds me of Jaejin. Haha.

I am not a pro but I think to make a live instruments performance, you need cables, amplifiers, others big instrumentation and a lot of organization like acoustic in the room or precaution for performers and public. So, obviously for less than four minute they are not going to make all of this (maybe for an AOA concert if they have enough money).

The music show don't allow band to play live, if they want to do so, just at some special stages like concert. I think it's a ridiculous rule that I can't understand.

They're not allowed to play live. Look at Nell, they also can't play live on Music Shows. And, FTIsland and CNBLUE aren't allowed to do so either. I have no idea why.
