I'm saying no one knows with certainty what that change will mean. 20 years ago the hole in ozone layer was supposed to fry us all. 10 years ago the Great Lakes were supposed to dry up. And now we're all going to die in 20 years if we don't stop driving our cars. Is the climate changing? Yes. Can anyone know with certainty what that change will look like 20 years from now? No. That's the point I was making.

Why should we be so arrogant that we think we can detect that the temperature is 2° higher than it should be based on our normal heating / cooling cycles. What is the true accuracy of the tests we used to get results from our last warming period and who is to say if the frequency at which these events happen is speeding up or slowing down? Also who is too say that our natural frequency doesn't fluctuate along a master frequency? We are very new to this Earth. Climate science right now is the least scientific type of science, right beside psychology. A lot of that has to do with political interests being so heavily involved. A bunch of big headed propagandists is who. High CO2 emissions were present during the other warm periods as well (well before industrialization). Which came first the chicken or the egg? I personally believe that natural cycles are more responsible for climate change than man produced CO2 and that man made global warming oops I mean climate change is a hoax. I think it's arrogant to think otherwise. BTW if you didn't catch that, I think that warming created the CO2 of our previous warm periods (vegetation dying off and what not). I can guarantee it was not automobiles, unless you believe in ancient astronaut theorists( in which case anything is possible) Climate change is an undeniable fact. Man-made climate change is not an undeniable fact. Climate change has and always will happen and there is nothing we can do about it. We most certainly shouldn't sacrifice our economy over a pseudo-science.
