AoE2 Arena Guide: 24+2 3TC Boom (Any civ) 

There are some tutorials in the work for that kind of thing, though if you don't want to be pressed, then play aggressive yourself. I have a lot of boom guides coming soon so itll be a while before I do anything along those lines, I do have a counter strat guide coming soonish though, did some work on it.

4tc is much better to up a couple vills later and insta build all 3 extra tcs when hitting castle age. You can push deer whenever in the build, you have a long time to help your ally out in BF. In BF you'd also get loom, I would recommend doing +1 pop for 3 on gold and getting loom so 25+loom, feudal, +2. As a beginner its a lot more forgiving and will prevent you having idle time, where 15 seconds more idle time to go up one vill faster is not worth it at all. Part of becoming a good player is to keep practicing yourself and trying your own things, for example 24+2 with dark age loom for 3tc instead of 25+2, moving an extra to gold. If you find that works for you better without idle time and you have the skill to make it work, and it is possible to do, then go for it. Experimenting is key, and Id recommend that as a method of practicing

In some of our testing for an upcoming video involving a lot of 3tc booming, we find that getting wheelbarrow right away vs at 30 vills yields about the same resources collected. It just feels better IMO, and helps you if you are under pressure.

When I resigned at min 28 game time, I went to the statistics. The score shows 5357 total. Of course score can rapidly increase here if you are attacking units already.
