Aokiji is really just a super chill guy, this is probably why hes my favorite admiral out of all admirals. Like if aokiji was real i would probably wanna hang with him.

Honestly this is one of the rawest scenes in the anime. That cut to the frozen sea monster is mind breaking. Then aokiji casually explaining to the villagers not to freak out you have plenty of time to make it while everybodies jaws are on the ground makes for great dichotomy. Dispite its goofy style i think pre time skip anime is so much better than post time skip

If I was in the world of One Piece i definitely would want Kuzan's devil fruit, coolest admiral power and if used the right way, possibly the strongest in my opinion.

Him being (one of) the only devil fruit user who can use his powers at sea is terrifying

I still can’t believe he is the voice actor of Dio!! It’s so obvious now not, I never realized it. I could recognize Takasugui and from Kaguya sama but this.. damn.., the voice acting is on another level!!

If you really think about it, his devil fruit shouldn't work in the ocean. That he managed to freeze the sea means he used Haki somehow to use his powers despite the weakness of the devil fruit. That just goes to show how monstrously powerful he is.

We need to talk about the fact that zorro and luffy were ready to throw with a sea monster to save an admiral

In the scene aokiji puts his hand in the ocean and doesn’t move at all until he activates his devil fruit power freezing the ocean and replacing the water with ice make him move again so yes the water made him stop moving until he replaced it with ice

This is one of the coldest (literally) moments in One Piece

And to realise: IMU 9 God knights 5 Gorosei 5 admirals One thing I dont understand and partly do is. If marines truly wanted to wipe out a single yonko, they EASILY could. As powerful a yonko is. ImU could have easily ordered 5 admirals at once on 1 yonko, 5 gorosei at once on 1 yonko, 9 god knights at once on 1 yonko, and itself on 1 yonko. And the fact how yonko's hardly ever work together is another reason why every yonko could have easily and utterly be wiped out. SO. It's certain ImU has a reason for not wiping them out. There is literally no other way. ImU keeps the Yonko alive for whatever idea IMU has in mind. 2). Just a scenario. Imagine a fully fresh Pre-Wano war orders from IMU sending all it's admirals (greenbull, Akainu, Fuji, Kizaru, Sengoku). 1. Greenbul deals with King. Maybe 2 minutes tops. 2. Akainu + Sengoku take on Kaido 3. Fuji deals with Queen in 5 min max 4. Kizaru deals with mammoth 3rd yonko commander in 1 min tops within 5 minutes all 3 yonko commanders are entirely wiped out. And this is me being very very generous. I don't even thiink these commanders last more than 2 minutes. But lets give them 5. Then. These Fuji and Greenbuil joinAkainu and Sengoku, while Kizaru wipes out the alliance. Meaning Kaido faces 4 admirals at same time. 3). Now imagine a scenario where Imu orders the 5 gorosei to wipe out Whole cake. Same thing but worse

So Kuzan, voice of DIO, Wardrobe from Esdeath, Ice manipulation from both of them. I mean he actually got his ice abilities from the devil fruit but still.

I think that aokiji already awakened his fruit, since it's a logia he is made of ice and can produce ice, but to make already existent water into ice on a multiple kilometers radius would require an awaked fruit

Soo akiji definitely froze more thhan 560km of ocean instantly... This feat is clearly Continental & there r people who still believe thhat younko 1st Commander is equal to a navy admiral...
