I love that Eren became and showed the world what an actual DEVIL OF PARADIS truly looks like. He basically shouldered all of the eldian's sins just for them to be saved. Even as a villain, he's still the hero...
There's a reason Eren repeated that him and Reiner are the same after Reiner broke down and confessed. What's eating away at Reiner is the fact that he was not "just following orders", it was absolutely his own decision to move forward with the plan. "If only I hadn't known such people existed, I wouldn't have become such a half-assed piece of shit" (Reiner Season 2 Episode 6 right before transforming) This is Reiner realizing that even after he met the people of Paradis, even after befriending them and realizing they weren't the devils he thought they were, he STILL chose to kill them. His guilt doesn't stem from the fact that he hadn't known any better, it's the fact that he knew what he was doing is wrong yet still decided to push forward, killing innocent people for his own selfish reasons. And that's exactly why Eren was relieved by this confession. Reiner wasn't being brainwashed or pushed into doing what he did and neither was Eren. "I was right, I'm the same as you. I think we were born this way." Neither of them understand why they are the way they are. Reiner is overwhelmed by guilt and thinks it's simply because he's "a worthless piece of shit", but (at this point in the series) we still don't know how Eren truly feels. This Eren quote sums it up perfectly: "...But there was something pushing us all along, causing us to step right into hell. For most of us, that something isn't of our own will. We're forced to by others, or by our environment. But the kind of hell seen by people *who push themselves into it* is something else. They also see something beyond that hell. Maybe it's hope. Maybe it's yet another hell. I don't know which is is. The only people who do know... are the ones who keep moving forward." That's why the Reiner/Eren dynamic is one of my favorites in the series.
@Limey on cc bro... relax with your 8 subscribers tiktok editing videos, if you think this video is just putting clips together you've missed the whole point of the video... you have a longggg way to go in editing if you think this didn't take any effort.
@Limey on cc what kinda brainless comment is this, of course, it takes effort to edit these videos, maybe even weeks. u gotta spend hours searching for scenes u want to cut into ur video, look for the right music that matches the pace of the edit, cut it all together whilst also making the clips fit the timing of the music, even change the color scheme on a lot of scenes, find the right build-up for the video progression and bro idk what not. don't downgrade people's efforts with ur stupid assumptions and pay more attention to the entire video. as an editor urself u should know how much work it takes to make the videos as perfect as possible. if these were just some random scenes smacked together in one, then they wouldnt be takin so much work stupido, put some sense into what ur saying
@Limey on cc i never said you were a good editor... just don't go around saying "ur just putting clips together" like bruh... did you even watch the video?
@Limey on cc nah this is debatable i could easily do a decent flow edit within 1 to 2 hours if you actually watched this asmv you can see how he's gotten parts from different seasons and i've done asmvs before finding those clips can be very time consuming and actually putting the lines in the asmv and making sense can be difficult too. i've done both flow and asmv's before i'm not saying they are both easy but i can easily do a flow quickly compared to a GOOD asmv which actually needs to make sense that takes multiple hours even days
He saw what hatred can drive people to become (living in marley and their hatred of eldia) And saw how hot erens hatred could burn.. knowing that if eren had to make the choice between saving those he loves or a world that hates them, he would burn the world to the ground
Woah this Eren Jaeger Tribute is a Masterpiece!!! He is my all time favorite character in AOT and I relate with him alot! Keep up the amazing works of art!!!
Eren never changed. That's what made him a great character. Isayama already made so much hinta of him being the same all this time. No sane child would go to 3 kidnappers, kill all 3 and plan a deadly strategy to do it. Remember when he also first transformed and they're being interrogated with a cannon aiming at them, he had such a creepy-ass face. Same when he said that he'd make Reiner and Bert suffer the worst way possible. The only difference is he knew the future and lost hope. But every single thing he's doing, is what he would've done even without knowing the future
AoT in general, and Eren specifically is the best written story and character in any story I have ever read/watched. He sacrificed everything including himself to achieve true freedom for all Eldians, even the ones who tried to kill him. He is the greatest hero/villain ever. A perfectly written character
No matter how strong, for a human to fight a monster means he has submerged his humanity and transformed himself into a greater monster… that is what happened to Eren.. When the dreams of a man crumbles.. he is destroyed with it and crippled until he breaks from his true-self turning into something anew.. something that the world has never been ready to experience
my god, these sounds, these effects, this video is on whole another level ! i felt a chill just by listening to the audio tho but the way the scenes are put, fits perfect with the dialog!
It wasn't their fault, no one could begin to imagine what he saw in his father's memories and the memories of previous inheritors of the Attack Titan. Even if he told someone it's not the same as seeing it for yourself so realistically no one had a solid chance at understanding him completely
Eren has no choice Reiner Annie and other Titan shifters could have done a lot of things to avoid attacking the walls even after realizing that what they are doing is wrong they still pushing forward Eren didn`t choose this path it was chosen by the conditions and the decisions of others
Eren is not only Eren anymore because he inherited three titans with a vast amount of memories. Otherwise, his Self is broken.Imagine you had a nightmare in which your family died, you woke up scared and disoriented because it felt so real. You'd think, with a rare sense of fear in your upper body: thank God it wasn't real!!!!!. Now, imagine you're having the same nightmare almost everyday… That'll affect you even when you're awake. Poor Eren. He'd been within a “nightmare" over four years or so. He felt it real.Eren didn't saw a single future, he saw alternative futures and took a choice. Eren had alternatives, but they were not great.I wish mikasa and eren were together just for 1 episode!
Firstly, OUTSTANDING video. With that said, Shingeki no kyojin is truly a great story. It all started (at least for me) back in 2013 with everybody so hyped about the animation and all the killing scenes; I was one of them, my expectations were so high and I only wanted to keep enjoying the show. Who could have ever told the amazing journey that just started... As our main characters grew, so did we. The story kept moving forward and turned from just killing titans to a mind-blowing plot twist to a character that has no other thing in mind than determination to achieve his goal. This anime along with Eren is really deep, ALL the philosophy put into it since chapter 1 aged too well and we can only realize after finishing the series, we go backwards to connect all the dots and give them the meaning we couldn't when it first started. To the boy who sought freedom... I can only find motivation in your personality, in your story and in your life to keep moving forward with mine.
One thing I love about Eren is that he doesn't flippantly say stuff. In season 1 when he's in the titan's stomach and says " I won't spare a single one, I'll make sure of it" he isn't blindly saying it, he really means it and is going through with it in season 4. Often times we see amine characters, and even people in real life, make promises they never fulfill or say outrageous things without thinking. Hajime Isayama did a fantastic job highlighting the importance of a man's word, something that I believe makes Eren so likable despite his other plans. He might not be a good guy, but it's hard for me not to respect his drive and ability to honor his word.
Everyday since I came here, I’ve been thinking, Why did things end up this way. Having your mind and body rotten away. Having your freedom taken away. Losing your sense of self. Anyone who knew they’d end up this way would never set foot on a battlefield But something pushes them forward and they walk into hell anyway Usually that something isn’t their own will. The conditions and people around them leave them with no choice but people who push themselves forward see a different sort of hell. They’re looking at something past that hell. It might be hope or it might be another hell. Only the people who keep moving forward will know Eren ❤
It wasn't my favourite either i liked hunter x hunter way more but when i read the eren grisha memory scene in the manga chapter 121, oh God the tables turned completely. I've read a lot mangas including berserk, vagabond, vinland watched almost all the anime and also most of the famous tv series but this eren grisha scene is easily the greatest scene of all time. There were too many smaller plot twists written in a bigger one
badass video bro eren is the one that started the story no one else he manipulated the past starting with krueger to kill his fathers sister for him to inherit the attack titan, thats why krueger tells grisha about a memory he doesnt know whose it is which it was erens since he's controlling everything.
i want them to live a long happy life. that line always make me cry and there mikasha thinking eren is bad just because everyone tell her that. mikasha was always like that even when everyone was trying to not save armin she side with them because everyone said that is the right thing only eren was fighting to save him even if it means fighting everyone only sad thing none of his friend did that for eren.
Great Video! What i never understood: They say Eren is the worst Person ever. Well, if they wouldnt destroyed the wall, his mother was never eaten by titans or everyone he loved or they would treat the "island demons" equally, he wouldnt have become such an "evil" person. They just planted hate and harvested a demon.
It’s kinda sad. I wish Eren instead of destroying 80% of humanity. He would just empower the Eldians to become *immortal supersoldiers.* Would have saved all the grief and heartache but I guess Ymir gets the final say.
