I know this post is old but if your aovo pro es80 is not charging, take your charger port and cut the black skinny wire, go to the battery and cut the thick black wire ad connect both, then connect the red wires still attached to the main piece you stripped connect black wires and red wires and your charger should turn red finally able to charge

Hmm brand is hard but the cells used in a battery pack like LG , Samsung, Panasonic are always a good sign Kairi make some good packs A custom built pack by a experienced builder would always be best but comes at a greater cost

@@electronicscootersthanet6360 I have a friend in OK who actually has the equipment necessary to connect the cells. I think he said he paid like 400 for it a few years back and I'm probably just going to have him do it!

This is the old version battery , aovo for the money is good scooter they have a long warranty and the company does honour it so based on the support compared to other manufacturers they have been great!

​@@electronicscootersthanet6360 Do you know what capacity of li-ion cells are made of old and new batteries? The old ones are 10s3p and the new 10s4p or maybe the old ones are from 18650 cells and the new 21700? I have an ES80 scooter from August 2022 (dates on the controller and cardboard box) and the measured consumption of Wh during the full cycle charging is 0-100% shows the consumption of 220Wh from the mains via the charger (the battery was discharged up to 40%, counting the sum of the percentage of all recharges by dividing by 100% comes out that it has 7.5 full cycles and instead of charging with a full cycle of over 378Wh, as the manufacturer declares, it enters 220Wh) what do you advise me to do - contact the local seller from whom I bought the scooter or direct contact with the Aovopro service? After removing the platform cover, everything looks the same as in mine, and so does the controller.

@@akrysmalski This is a interesting question because actually the old battery definitely isn’t 10.5ah as stated. The cells are 18650 26-c 3.6v 2600mah 9.36 wh So 3.6v x 2.6ah is 9.36wh making the total 36v x 7.8ah =280.8 wh The new battery is 10s3p and uses 18650 still but not sure the new cell capacity as of yet. But it’s rated the same as the old battery in AH and Wh (10.5 / 378)

@@electronicscootersthanet6360 I returned the scooter to the seller (warehouse in Germany) and bought a used Xiaomi m365 Pro 2 at a similar price, now I know what the gap is between the clones and the original - it was definitely the best decision I could have made ;)
