Great job on this one! The Avian Plight and Soar well fit the new avians, especially the ones of the story realms, while Thrive and Glorosiam Occasum are just great additions altogether. Empire and Ashes and Trials and Fortitude II very well fit the main theme of the expansion and are very very epic, with the remake being impressive even when compared to the already good original one - when I fight any decisive battle I now hope every time that the game begins with Trials of Fortitude II even just because of its evocative beginning!
""Avian Plight" fits perfectly with the conflict you are confronted with in the first mission of the expansion. Roaming Warmongers in a untouched Enviroment and City states bonding together to protect their citizens. "Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends" from Big Huge Games comes to my mind with the Expdition of Giacomo starting in the cultivated green fields of industrial Vinci, through the ever-changing dessert of the ancient Alin up to the dense jungles housing the myterious Cuotl. "Thrive" reminds me a lot of the Golden Realm Expansion for AoW3. Best Track for starting with halfling settling seefarers establishing numerous villages. "Gloriosam Occasum" would be a good drive for a good alligned elven court seeking peace with orc nomads. "Trials of Fortitude II" is the perfect underlay to a War about the occupation of Land between Feudal and Barbarian Nations, backed up by minor city states that provide magical prowess. I imagine nature based materialists digging for ancient wonders when listening to "Soar" in compation to ancient spiritual guardians who wants to protect the world. Lastly “Empire & Ashes” takes me to the rallying of forces of good, banding together from all places to make a final attempt to destroy evil and prevent the worst.
Aw yiss! The new music! :) I would be so happy if you create a new Lo-Fi mix with the new music, but after the other 2 DLC drop next year, so it would be a complete experience! Stay awesome Triumph and PDX!
