My school starts in 2 days and I’m going straight into calc ab and I’m scared. How was it for you? I’m trying to prepare by learning trig identities and creating a better knowledge of the unit circle but what advice would you give?

@@turtledude4493 yo bro it’s going decent right now I got COVID the first two weeks of school which screwed me over in the first quarter of calc ab, I got a 67% but then the next quarter I got an 87% and now I’m calc bc doing fine if I’m being honest, you won’t really need to know trig identities until calc bc

@@largestbrain any tips or advice? anything helps :)

@@DidYouLook first, I think it’s helpful to understand the math at an intuitive level; it’s good to memorize the formulas and methods, but you should also try to understand why they work. It makes the FRQ much less overwhelming when you have to utilize multiple concepts. If you have a chart for all the derivative and integral formulas, memorize it like the back of your hand. You can find practice tests online and those really help to figure out what you need to work on. Also, try to avoid writing too much on the FRQ. Sometimes all they want is for you to set up an equation; try to keep the explanations concise so you don’t waste time. That’s all I have. Good luck!
