Mr. Kellly. I have a question. You said that in the function, the phase shift is isolated. Why is that, is there a difference if we do the multiplicative transformation first and then do the phase shift from when we factor it and do it. I also wanna ask. Is this only limited to trigonometric functions? Like, in y=(2x-1)^2 Should i factor it to y=(2(x-1/2))^2 and then transform it?
