Having had a streamliner on the wrist I can say without a doubt it is just exquisite. There is nothing like it and you have to experience it in person to understand it. Happy with this truly unique piece of work, complemented with a royal-oak feel Powermatic 80!

Moser's design language is not everyone's cup of tea, but every model it releases is highly impressive on technical levels. A Moser looks traditional at a glance until you realize how bonkers it is.

H. Moser, Tim I saw your video on this watch in 2020 and loved it. I went into my local AD that carries this watch and 8 months later, I got one. I have yet to step foot in an AP boutique, because it would just be pointless. I would not even consider buying the Royal Oak on the secondary market based on what they are trading at.

Love the Streamliner. The AP’s square lines have never appealed although matter of personal taste, although have to say the understated colouring of this AP is pretty cool.

I will pick history and heritage on this particular occasion above rarity as I prefer the AP Royal Oak model, I must concede that H Moser is an excellent haute horology brand.

Would have picked the Moser as well. As much as I respect the RO, the Moser would certainly melt around my 7 inch wrist in a way the RO just wouldn't. One must applaud Moser for how easy they made it look to come up with an innovative take on an old theme.

Impossible to compete with design language of the Royal Oak. It's too big for most wrists, though. Let's be honest. I can wear one at 7.5" wrist NP, but a lot of my boys in this hobby look silly rocking it. Moser dials are more even more impressive in person, and the movement is just as good as the quality of the Audemars.

It's the Moser for me as well. That fume dial is exquisite, and the bracelet reminds me of the Ebel wave bracelets - one of my all time favourites. I also love the fact that whilst it's readily recognisable as a Moser, it's not instantly recognisable as a luxury item - unlike the Audemars, I wouldn't be worried about being mugged for it. Where the AP wins for me is that clasp, which is chunky and industrial. But for everything else, it's the Moser.

Between the two watches, I would go with the Moser Streamliner as well. The design and rarity of the Streamliner helps to be a conversation starter compared to the Royal Oak which has become more about having it due to the high demand against the supply.

It is very difficult to beat this reference Royal Oak. If either watch was offered to me, to keep and wear without being able to sell, the Moser would be my choice, but I do tend to opt for the less trendy in favor or something a bit more audacious. Thanks again Tim!

Going side by side with a Royal Oak is similar to competing in a beauty pageant against Jessica Alba. That Moser is pretty unique though.

These might be the only metal bracelets I’d wear. They feel like legit acceptable/masculine jewelry rather than a luxury accessory item. With a Rolex Explorer or Breitling Navitimer … while I like those bracelets, I’d rather wear a leather strap. It’s not good enough to give up the comfort and discretion of leather.

Hi Tim, great comparison. When you mention that the H Moser can be worn on a wrist around 13.5cm are you taking into account the number of removable links? It doesn’t look like there are that many.

I believe he's referring to the, Watch head itself. Does it overhang the wrist, lug to lug. And the Case dimensions. But it is certainly a good point, and one not often talked about in this format.

When my Streamliner came it had 10 removable links (5 on each side) and was actually too small for my 19 cm wrist so I had to add one link. I guess 8 of the 10 links equivalent to around 4.3 cm should be removable, so that suggests a minimum size of 14.2 cm without some serious hacking. But the minimum span across the end links is 52mm on my caliper (Tim said 50 - maybe he squeezed it hard), so I'd say it's going to look pretty big on anything larger than a 16 cm wrist.

Well, it costs less money, so there's that. It's more water resistant than the AP but less than the Moser. And the GP movement is fine but fragile compared to either of these. Best, Tim

@@the1916companywatchreviews yes I saw that it's possible to get a 42mm one for 10k on the grey market. But what do you mean when you say that the movement is a bit fragile? Does it break easily or do you mean that it requires more regular servicing than an AP or Moser?

Moser is very very beautiful watch , i would compare it to VC or pp or ap these brands are just becoming memes of watch world no brains just purchase for capital gains not really much of aa different watch unless you see Moser it looks miles apart way ahead of anyone else
