Unless you play Shaco perfectly most matchups will just shit on you. Like early game for pinkward he did nothing but die but you can catchup pretty quickly if you can start getting picks on ppl who will start to make a lot of mistake since they are so far ahead of you and think they can stomp you after the first couple deaths

i'd imagine the thought process is that he took fleet and to get value from the rune you have to trade but cam is overtuned and one of the stronger top laners right now so it's just not possible and shaco is a dog shit laner so no matter how much you try to make his trade patterns viable in lane they are rarely good unless fighting in big waves. but theoretically with q back stab e backstab bonus dmg retreat into box and they don't get auto's off from box fear you out trade + out sustain her w spam

Pink ward do this often he's very aggresive to find evrey chance for kill, and thus he trade with enemies when even they have much stronger early game with this style, he lure enemies with losing trades or low hp to walk into deadly traps you can say every trade from him is a experiment, to know what would opp do, how much damage could opp deal and how much he can take and for exactly same reason, sometimes it doesn't go well, he might calculates damage wrong, ganked by others or just unlucky sometimes you would even call him arrogant or idiot to get punished for showing no respect but that's the prize for his genius art works you see, just get used to it
