A good tip for Tahm Kench is to learn the ult timing and let it expire instead of manually spitting them out. This way you can buffer the Q so it hits them whilst they're still in the middle of being spat out. This slow will then basically guarantee your W knock up. You have a delay before you can Q otherwise
I never notice you going for it but I'm pretty sure you can Devour from far away when you stun with Q. Like, your Q becomes a hook if you press R at the right time. Only hook in the game that gets extra range, though the passive makes it pretty conditional.
Always enjoy some good Thomas games. If you start to narrow your champ pool for the climb I won't be mad, just sayin'. Variety is fun and probably better for the views but I honestly just like watching the progress even if it's the same champ
Yeah I agree, but if they are mainly melee enemies and you don’t need the sustain in lane, then grasp can add some good damage later in the game. But they weren’t so fleet or the other movement rune ( the blue one, I can’t remember the name) would have been better.
It is good, but you have to build it first item to be worth, which slows down your heartsteel stacks which are very important for damage and size which gives range.
It is true, for me, revolves around the addiction for League, the lack of time and patience to expertise it - that pekin does so well, and of course, that sweet lack of instinctive masculinity that our fella portrays. It's just a sweet cocktail of peace and serenity! Ah!
PEKIN you should play cockroach Udyr top - full healing with Ravenous, BT and Spirit visage combined with W is full hp off one wave - omar has a guide on it :)
One TK mechanic many people are unaware about is that you can swallow people at a really good range. It needs a little set up, so you don't see it very often, but it's always fun to catch people off guard by eating them after they flash over a wall or something. You need to either have full Taste stacks on the target, or be 1 stack from full. If you land a Q and then instantly press R you'll swallow them from up to max Q range. When you reach max stacks you're typically in close combat or have Q on cd, but it's great fun when the stars do allign.
Curious to hear your thoughts on building abysmal Mask in the 2nd game vs. Rumble. I feel like the MR would be great for surviving Rumble & Udyr damage, health keeps the passive scaling train going, and the item passive helps make up for the lack of AP (plus it helps Vex), and you get a bit of haste on top. I'm guessing Riftmaker just scales Tahm's damage too well to push it 3rd item?
if you end up playing a bit more tk, try putting a second point in E at level 3 and your first point in W at level 4. some tk mains do this to help w his weak early. ghost and approach velocity also tend to be more consistent
pekin just to clear it up i dont think you can eat someone that late versus syndra ult now that it has an execute on it. i think thats what happened in game one.
@@PekinWoof i think he got executed during the animation at least that’s what it looked like without slowing it down because you started to ult and then he just died
You can buffer your Q when spiting an enemy out of your R for an undodgeable Q. You can use your W to help with TK poor wave clear when you don't need to escape or engage.
Rylais on Kench is subpar, Protobelt gives the same stats with a better passive. Rabbadons deathcap is good but only as a final item, and warmogs isn’t that great for a mainly ap Tahm build, very good for tank though.
