​@@kmsbismarck69 That could be true. I did not serve in the US Air Force nor did I ever fly an AC-130. However, I flew both AH-1F Cobras and AH-64A Apaches in the US Army. We NEVER called either of those attack helicopters "gunships". We cringed every time we heard a know-nothing news reporter refer to Cobras or Apaches as "gunships".

2.75 in rockets are unguided and take some skill to shoot. Crosswinds, the aircraft not being in trim, untimely control inputs, rushing the engagement etc. can send those things in unintended directions. Throw in the training ones "blue spears" are utter garbage and it gets silly. Even the live ones though aren't a precision weapon. You're just trying to get them in a kill box which will see fragmentation hit the target.

@@flyoptimum Thank you for the info. I never considered the performance difference of these trainers, but it does make (more) sense now. It does indeed look a bit silly, in this footage. At least to me. I remember thinking: "They'll be glad those didn't boomerang back at them".

@@unfunnyfurryrailfan There is a legal use of force pyramid that military and law enforcement officers are supposed to use to determine their responses in different situations. Intent, opportunity, and capability must also be present for the use of force. The civilians you are talking about are using lasers to permanently blind people with is serious bodily harm, they are hitting people with sledge hammers which is also serious bodily harm or death, they are throwing cement blocks, and the list could go on. Sure there are some peaceful protesters, but any civilians that become terrorists by using violence to promote a political cause should be dealt with according to the laws. Serious bodily harm or the threat of death are supposed to be dealt with by using deadly force according to the law. Democrats are stopping the police from following the laws because they are socialist / communists planted by the chinese to undermine the stability and democracy of the United States. They should be dealt with, but there are alot of people like you who are either on their side or to uneducated to believe anything you hear that doesn't conform to their ideology that you have started believing.

You should read T'ai Kung's Six Secret Teachings, The Methods of Ssu-ma, Sun-tzu's Art of War, Wu-tzu, Wei Liao-tzu, Three Strategies of Huang Shih-kung, and Questions and Replies Between T'ang T'ai-tsung and Li Wei-kung. They will show you some interesting stuff. Most people in the U.S. think of China as China, but it is actually many small countries that have been conquered by the Han Chinese and then indoctrinated into mainland China. Look up the Uyghur on the internet and read about what is happening to them right now. Half of their population has been redistributed and replaced by Han Chinese. This is one means of maintaining order that they use. Another is the concentration camps that people who don't conform to party lines are sent to. That is the end result if China ever conquers the U.S. too. Now how could that happen? Their tactics start with investing economically in a country so that they can later shake the countries foundation if they need too, part of that is replacing manufacturing capability, this is actually talked about in Chinese military doctrine. Another thing that is talked about is exaberating the political climate in a target country by supporting a certain political faction and instigating conflicts through the doctrine that that faction supports. Good examples of this could be the donations made to colleges that help them become left leaning, or patronage of companies like the NBA or big tech that also influences their decisions and creates political strife. I could go on with this, but I'm not getting paid and I have other things to do tonight. Big story short - rioters and the democratic party in the U.S. right now are a cancer that needs to be removed before it's too late. Most people just don't have the knowledge or the guts to believe cold hard facts when they are shown them and would rather believe in universal love and singing while holding hands, even if that is not the truth. That is why not one left leaning media outlet has covered any of the violence going on right now. People just won't believe things are bad because its hard to realize you are in a shit situation if you can close your eyes and mind your own business or close your eyes and get paid.
