My parents ran it as a western show in 1975 there about... My dad would play Doc Holliday and was the cook too. Lots of history between 1969 fire and 2004 fire.
That’s really cool! I think me and my wife actually went to that town, perhaps?! it was a town that had a museum and stuff I can’t remember, but it was based off of Hollywood wedtern films ... it was cool! awesome video! Cheers 🍻
Haha, I most lightly seen most of them films when I was a kid, my dad was a westerns fantastic, so we all had to watch them every Sunday. Some big stars filmed there mind, nice look about, cheers Alan
I think it was around 1992, my daughter then 11 or 12 years old and I rented horses at a nearby stable we rode back into the hills there and happened across an old movie studio. I've been trying to figure out what it was and I think this must have been it. Those boot impressions of the actors that you showed I think at the museum now, we're all in the ground as you walked into the movie set. I remember there was a saloon, but unlike most movie sets I've seen it was actually a full building, not just a front and there was a upright piano in it. I vaguely remember the church. Of course that was 30 years ago. Too bad it's gone. Where is it located exactly?
Before it was closed off from all directions I hiked through there all the time. I found a badass prop grenade from a movie set (i assume). Super sad that it's closed off now! I believe someone flipped their atv doing donuts and ruined it for everyone!!
