According to Chris Hani, Umkhonto Wesizwe Chief of Staff, apartheid is still in place & South Africa is still ruled by a white minority. The late MK Chief of Staff, was on a ten-day tour to the US, to visit members of Congress, State Department officials & anti-apartheid activists. Hani made a brief stop at the National Press Club on 24 April 1991 to present his & the organizations views around the so-called negotiations that were taking place between the apartheid government and liberation movements that included the PAC, ANC and others. He also explains the various challenges that they've been experiencing with the Pretoria regime headed by then apartheid President FW De Klerk & answers various questions posed by journalists in attendance.
