Apartment 4 Knightsbridge Gate, London 

Alongside MSMR Architects, MAWD designed the luxurious interiors at APML Estates’ development of Knightsbridge Gate, a Grade II listed building occupying a prime position overlooking London’s Belgravia and Hyde Park. Within the apartments, MSMR and MAWD's space planning focuses on creating a hierarchy of spaces, maximising the use of natural light and forming a sequence of views as one moves through each apartment.
Seamlessly tying the retained Edwardian façade with the contemporary new building behind, the design aesthetic for the interiors intrinsically connects both elements through consistent careful detailing and material selection.
MSMR and MAWD worked closely alongside artisan suppliers to develop all detailing elements of the residences, including rich timber panelled doors, traditional wall beading and intricate cornicing, alongside contemporary brass balustrades and stone detailing.
