#1 is Elevation at San Tan. Toured it a while ago. The space is just so tiny compared to where I live now and the concourse was such a letdown (all pavement) I live at San Privada in Gilbert and it's more spacious, beautiful modern design, lots of grass and pavanas with gas grills, and my favorite a 24 hour resort style pool. It's also Mark Taylor management so everything gets done to perfection. Great place to live until I get my house built.
Always keep in mind that the apartments being shown are the ones in best condition and most highly upgraded. Then when you move into yours it's usually a big let down and you feel like they just took a shit on you! That's how it's done in AZ!!!
If you guys don't have kids, you should be moving to Tempe. It has a much younger vibe. Gilbert is a family town. Also, most homes in the Valley have electric stoves. If you build a brand new home, you will most likely find gas.

This is a silly question, I've looked at a few AZ apartment hunting videos. I notice every one is fully furnished. Is that just the demo apartment or you actually move into a furnished place?!
Where did you find the listings?? My BF and I are thinking about moving to AZ from CA next Saturday and this was a super last minute decision !! lol im nervous about picking a not so great area since I've never been to AZ!!
@@toastandamandas hi yes! We moved lol and we didn’t even see the place we just winged it but it turned out fine! However we realized we were being charged more since we are from California. We chatted with neighbors and found out.

I'm moving to Phoenix from Tampa and am very nervous. I'm ready for a change. I make in the lower 6 figures which is big in Tampa being that the workforce doesn't offer high salaries. In with the government in management. I also have an MBA and am in my Doctoral Program. I have saved a little over 100k. I'm not a lavish person and am fine with renting for now. I want a 2b 2b apartment no more that 1400k in a decent area. Am I reaching for the stars? Would I need to take more time in Tampa to find a job first? I wild normally never move without a job. But I'm so over Tampa and my job! What do you think?
