Considering how rent is expensive in CA, for the price you're paying wouldn't it be better to buy a house when the market gets better simply due to the fact that for the same price of renting, you're also building equity and more room/freedom? Also in the long term, if you ever decide you don't want to be at that place anymore you can always rent it out and live elsewhere so you're still making passive income and by that time assuming you're also making more money from your business; so in the end it all check out. What do you think?
