oml I’m currently apartment hunting in Seattle and it feels impossible living alone! I never realized how expensive Seattle is/was cause my parents have always owned a house here-thanks so much for all your tips, really appreciate it!

It was so cool as a seattle resident to actually know what neighborhood you’re talking about and all the intricacies

Tbh i couldn’t be in a bedroom like the one of the #1 apartment like imagine having private time with your partner and you just hear or see people literally walking by like 2 meters away from you 😂😭

All the apartments shown by the attached 🎥 apartment showing were really nice; although the last three apartments shown were my favorites; yet, I know it's best to make appointment's to 👀 see apartment housing in person to get better view of outside apartment area, inside apartment built-in, appliances and a feel of being in apartment, housing complex that could change my mind about choice of apartment to choose if were looking for apartment housing; however, as said above, all the apartments shown by the apartments🎥 showing were really nice and or decent looking apartment/housing for persons to pick and choose to live in in peace and or happiness is such luxury to have beautiful kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer and or balconies connections to apartment's are sweet.

I must be old … Urban one bedroom = studio 😂😂. Building code requires any “room” (closed off with a door) that is used for sleeping must have a window large enough for an adult to exit through. 😊. At least in Washington - no idea what the codes are in New York, their idea of a “bedroom” or “studio” is much more closet like 😂😂

I will be moving to Seattle in a few months from New Jersey alone I have never been there and I have always wanted to live in Seattle. I’ll be just coming out of a divorce and I want to start a new life there. I have to leave the east coast and New Jersey because there will be too many memories here that will prevent me from moving on 😞. I love my husband of 14 years but unfortunately he has other plans 😞. So I need to find an apartment that I will be able to afford. I want to live in the city because that will probably be the best place to meet new people and hopefully make new friends. So my question is if I can’t afford to live in the city what areas are next to the city that will be a little better priced for either a one bedroom or studio? Thank you 😊

Seattle is obsessed with sliding doors for the bathroom I was recently there from Chicago and I didn’t know my hotel had a door for the longest until I bumped into the side and realized it was a sliding door lol

Can't believe how small most of the apartments were! BUT we've just moved to Edinburgh where everywhere has 10-12foot ceilings, bay windows and large living spaces. It's interesting to see the differences between the two, with price too! We appreciate you being transparent, as always and we're excited for you and Yoni to move into your new home. Enjoy! x

These apartments are so nice except for the "bedrooms". I would have picked the second apartment only because I'm a runner and I wouldn't get tire of the running track view. Seattle looks really nice, I always watched NYC videos and the rent prices differences are surprising!

It’s so weird watching apartment hunting in your own neighborhood: I actually was looking online at the vida apartments but I felt weird about the bedroom too.

Seattle apartments would be great if they weren't so pricy. if you consider most places that aren't tech, MA, or BA + experience careers. You're making maybe 3k a month gross, which is 18.75 an hour. Lets take the cheaper one at 1600 a month. for that to be 30% of your income or less, you'd need take home of 5.3 grand a month. .that's about $37 an hour with 20% taxes. so roughly 80 grand a year gross income. Lets be realistic and say rent is 50% of your income (the usual reality in seattle, unless you wanna live on the outskirts). You'd need a job at just over $22 an hour. . . after you take food, parking at work, various insurances, potential car repairs, student loans. theirs nearly nothing left. . . . it's brutal if you aren't in a shared living situation.
