Not surprised, Korca is the most civilized city in Albania, in terms of city planning, cleanliness, organization. It is as closest you get to normal Europe. The people themselves are more hardworking and calm, architecture reflects people. Most popular places around Korca are: Dardhe, Voskopoje, Vithkuq and Boboshtice. These are the villages people like to visit, and hike.
Yess we truly fell in love with Korca.. the local fruits, food & people are just the best! We will be sure to visit Dardhe, Voskopoje, Vithkuq and Boboshtice!
@@TwoMadExplorers I'm not from Korce, but I know what you are talking about. Most other areas of Albania are a little chaotic. In Korce you still get the benefits of Albania(organic food) with European order.
I visited Albania in February/March of 2020. The day after I crossed the border, the country went into its first covid lockdown. The streets were completely abandoned and I was in this historic ottoman city and had it all to myself. It was a pretty cool experience, however I wasn’t able to explore beyond that. I need to go back someday to complete the journey. Nice house btw!
Thank youuu!! Hahaha yes true, we need a bit cooler weather for this month as we are planning on heading to Mexico next month! Will be a bit hotter there I am sure lol Luke & Naomi
@@TwoMadExplorers the digital nomad route these days, eastern Europe Mexico Costa Rica then Thailand, Vietnam how the world as changed, enjoy every minute and take care
Go to Erseke , it’s next to Korca toward Permet . My cousin overthere has a whole beautiful house with big garden for rent , in the village close to Erseke much mioe beautiful then this apartment , You have all veggies in the garden and the guys in that city have great food in their restaurants In old times in Albania and in Greece Korca was called “Little Paris” , by the way . In greek language Korca means Girl
In the road towards Erseke there is a great restaurant named “ Sofra Kolonjare” where the food is one of the best in Albania . Also , in Erseke it is a fish restaurant where you can pick the live fish from the fish pool
Albania is a solid place to slow down and spend a lot of time. We had to get an espresso maker too so that we could have lots and lots of coffee. Albanian food is amazing!
Your apartment is a great score! We are on Day 8 of our Albanian adventure - loving it - well maybe not the driving 😉 We will be in Korce Sept. 19-22, fancy meeting up for a pint? Charmaine&David 🇨🇦
Heyyy Charmaine & David! Wow amazing what is your favourite place so far?? Yes absolutely, shoot us a message and we can grab a pint here in Korce :) Luke & Naomi
Really helpful video! Korce is now on my potential towns for a 1yr move. Suggest a city walk video, and a food & monthly lodging cost comparison video. Super gemacht! Vielen Dank & Cheers
Hi Luke&Naomi,Tks for your shared video. If you don’t mind, Can you share something about the rental situation of apartments in the seaside city of Albania?
@@TwoMadExplorers this is the way to do it! We actually have "travel clothes" segregated and special for travel with our small backpacks. Like yourselves, you get used to washing in sinks and hanging to dry! LOL
Hi guys, thank you so much for amazing videos. I’m planning my trip to Albania for this coming October so may I please ask you to share your apartment’s location with me please, plus did you find it on Airbnb? Thank you so much in advance. Penny 😊
I plan on spending a 2-3 months in Saranda from Feb-April/May, then want to escape the tourist season and I was thinking of spending a month or two in Korca or some of the other towns on the way towards Korca. Would you recommend Korca in May/June/July? Subscribed!
We would recommend Saranda for Feb-April-May Pogradec May-June-July Pogradec is a cooler town with access to water and beautiful promenades with cafes and good atmosphere ❤️ Korca is amazing, but 3 months is long to be there
Yes, you can relocate permanently. You just have to apply for a visa within 30 days after arrival. (type depending on how long you want to stay there and if you want to work)
Hi V, it's pretty easy to find on AirBnB if you select the monthly option. See this one here as an example: www.airbnb.com/rooms/48948027?adults=2&check_in=2021-09-09&check_out=2021-10-09&display_extensions%5B%5D=MONTHLY_STAYS&translate_ugc=false&federated_search_id=ff809191-2609-431f-88a4-907dee9aafdb&source_impression_id=p3_1631112831_ii2yi%2FYR0ibTc7uJ Greetings, Luke & Naomi
