Just got my copy in today, what a lovely toy, i didnt get back into collecting until past prime's time but looking back cliffjumper was one of the figures i really wanted from the line Getting this in hand was a positive delight, especially the car mode, i was surprised but just how much i loved it in hand, such a great design for cliffjumper For anyone concerned, no major qc issues on mine, a few nitpicks, his right ankle is a bit loose, and the little window bit from inside the leg is really stiff on that side as well, other than that maybe the feet could have used another coat of paint, the red is slightly darker than elsewhere, overall though so glad i kept putting off the original and ended up getting this, the solid shiny horns make a world of difference

The red used is the one major issue I have with him. I didn't expect it to he as bright as seen in the promo pics but damn... it way too dark and faded. Still another great apc figure but just wish the red poped a bit more.

Mine arrives tomorrow but, I'm concerned with the paint now. From the pictures, it looks like a shiny candy apple red and from your review, it looks nothing like that. I'm not a fan of matte finished paint on my toys as I prefer shiny / glossy. I finally decided to buy this figure when Hasbro made him into a 4 pack, 3 of which I didn't want. So, my money went to this guy instead of Hasbro. It just came in and transformation is super simple as the hardest part, at least for me, was trying to align everything, especially the legs underneath the hood. Cliffjumper was the very first Transformers I got and he's still one of my favorites as I still have the G1 version. Paint wise, there's not much to say other than I wish it was a shiny red as cars should be shiny, not matte.

im pretty sure it's actually the other way around, they hired the rock because he wasn't meant to be important from the get go, only advertised as such to shock the viewer and let you know "this isn't your typical "kids show"

4:20 I also really want Purple Vehicons (If possible, same metallic plastic as Takara Shockwave), Air Vehicons in purple and white, RID Arcee in the proper blue, Nemesis Prime (for some reason we are gonna get a purple SHATTERED BLASS edition but not Nemesis yet?) and OMG PLEASE AN OVERSIZED RATCHET.

Mine is on the way. Should be here this week if not today. Idk how I feel about the matte finish either. Should have been glossy red. I swear if they come out with one later I'm gonna be pissed. They need to hurry up and release Bulkhead already and also give us a voyager sized Ratchet.

I'm significantly more negative of Prime as a show than I was back when it was airing, but I still love the Cliffjumper design, and I was never able to get the First Edition figure. I typically don't support Knock Offs, but this is much cheaper than trying to buy the original. So, I think I might actually have to go for it.

So for me, the CHUG jguy, these will be great eh? I am fixing to go down this rabbit hole, with APC. That Legacy Bulk, and Arcee just aren't cuttin it. I got TFP arms micron Hades Megatron, the chrome one? He too just isn't cutting it, but for different reasons. I am REALLY thinking about grabbing up these APC guys to get those crews represented. I may sound a little harsh on the legacy guys so, I'll say that I do like the figures, as long as i think of them as diffrent charecters, Make sense? With leaders being $60 US, I've got the new Skyqualke, but not the one I obviously wanted, baby bro... and he is a great figure! I did have a bit of a break though, one of the tail/back of bot wings. The hinge broke, but still good. APC tho... Like they walked off the screen.

*Question:* Is the neck joint on this new one still clear plastic like the HasTak original? I remember hearing about some vintage ones ending up headless over time because that joint would shatter from built-up stress.

i really dk if its my awful luck but APC toys for me is nearly always awful, the arcee i got has the loosest ball joins in the shoulders and this cliff I just got was terrifying to transform, rotating the waist felt like it would acc snap. but whenever I see reviews for APC it looks damn good. idk if i got the worst luck of all time with em

Ordered mine earlier in the week as it was one of the FE figures I missed out on a decade ago. Are the kids painted better than the original versions because they were so poorly painted first time around…

No one else has reported any issues and I’ve been doing crash zooms for about a year , they are nothing new so I apologise if you don’t enjoy them
