APS-C folks, make sure you adjust for crop factor got the focal length shutter speed guide.

I always use AP doing sunrise timelapses. However today, the shutter speed never changed. For 23 photos the shutter was at 4”, than changed to 3.2” and stayed that way for hundreds of photos. The first photos were good but slowly became over exposed as the sun brighten. Never had that happen. Going to update to 3.01 and test it. Ever happen to you?

That’s strange...we’re you using the built in intervalometer or a third party plug in intervalometer?

Mike Smith I’ve done dozens with a third party intervalometer. Never had a problem like this. Used the built in intervalometer once, but forgot to turn the function “on”😂 I turn my display off as I do the timelapse, so I didn’t notice any shots being taken.

Mike Smith Did a timelapse this past weekend and everything worked perfectly. I didn’t even update it or change any settings. Weird. The sunrise did turn out a little grayish towards the end of the sunrise timelapse. Will try to figure that out too.

Haha!! Forgetting to turn the function on must have been frustrating!! So you ended up with just the first photo...I bet you’ll never make that mistake again! 😆 That’s weird that it’s working properly again...maybe it was just having a bad day...🤔

Mike Smith It happened again😂😂 I have updated to 3.01 before the timelapse. I think I’m going to restore to factory and keep the adjustments to a minimum. Doing morning sunrise timelapses on a beach that got flooded. So, the reflection of the sky with the sun coming over the water is breathtaking. Don’t know how long it will last, so going out every day.
