I imagine Gorillas evolving to another human race in a few thousands years.
@TheBeyspieler
@TheBeyspieler Год назад
It'd be more like a couple of tens or hundreds of thousands of years, and the presence of us isn't helping, but it's such a cool thought. Imagine we shared this planet with another intelligent race! Octopi are actually quite smart, like, ridiculously smart, but they lack a few traits that barred them from creating a great civilization in the sea: For one, they die during the process to create their young, and thus cannot teach them and cannot profit from generational experience, and they don't have the same affinity for language as we do. And, well, it's hard to make fire in the sea.

Monkeys dont exhibit 1 single thing recognizable as a "human" trait. They don't carve the days events into their zoo walls, they dont make fire, they dont make music or rhythms. Otters use rocks to open shell fish. Maybe they're entering the stone age?
@chiropra1
@chiropra1 3 года назад
@@notthesame4935 If you define what is a human trait by what they can not do then, logically, what they do is that what is left. They are less intelligent then we are but they are much like us and we share common ansesteres only 6 million years ago. Do you not think this to be true or at least very likely ?

I see the study of animals that are this far from human society to be economically similar to the space programs, an unwise investment. I see how space exploration and investigating these remote areas and studying these animals can be exciting and create pleasing footage, but what purpose does it serve when we have bigger problems? If poverty and global warming can be dealt with, and some form of renewable energy source is found, then spend billions on these projects. Until then, spend wisely.
