one of the craziest aceu clips was him in skull town literally learning the re-45 recoil pattern on the fly by shooting at a way, seeing how it work, then one clipping the guy he was fighting like 10 seconds earlier with it

Apex is incredible man. I’ve got over 30 days of game time logged in WZ but switched to Apex a few months ago. The game is so fresh and dynamic. Each game is different and the options for legends keeps things interesting. Honestly a great game with so much to dive into.

He also mained Horizon when she first came out until Respawn nerfed her. You gotta watch when he was NRG pro with Dizzy and Mohr. When they won the Championship.... it was pure poetry!

I 100% stand by what hitch said at around @12:15 mark. I watch top people play Apex and instantly wanna hop on the game. I could go watch any god-tier player on any other BR play and it dont even wanna open that game especially WZ.

Apex is so satisfying. It pushes you to be better everytime you play it and it rewards you so much. I started 5 months ago and am currently D2 and i am hooked to it like to no other game. You get bodied so much in the beginning and than someday out of nowhere you hit that kraber no scope in the air and can‘t shut up about it. Amazing game

tap strafing allows you to turn without losing any momentum from your sprint. you can turn up to 90 degrees and keep full momentum, something that you can't do on controller or without tap strafing. the mechanic has something to do with binding the jump action to the scroll wheel, so it can't be bound correctly on a controller

Tap strafe can be done on any input. I play console and I do it. To be fair I a have a controller with back buttons but even without you can still do it

Keep in mind, ofc each character has their abilities, which would call for different play styles, but if you have movement down in this game, gibbys and caustics, can be seen moving around just as much as a wraith

Btw, the speed of the characters looks different because of the anination of the arms and the speed of camera going up and down, plus the different speed of the sound of the feet touching the floor. Al of this is to create the illusion that bigger characters are slower and that every one runs in a different way. You gotta love the details in apex. Love your reactions!

Tap strafing basically lets people change direction in midair without losing momentum. Imagine someone running forward and jumping, then breaking physics to turn 180 degrees in midair WHILE CONTINUING TO MOVE FORWARD THE WHOLE TIME so that they are facing AND MOVING IN the direction they came from. That is what tap strafing allows. It doesn't necessarily have to be a 180 degree turn, you can turn as much or as little as you want. The freedom of movement that it allows is nutty!

tap strafing is just changing direction in the air without losing momentum, it can be applied in many ways especially when using octane pads as you normally would not be able to change directions with full momentum once youre in the air even with a second jump

Tap-strafing is actually possible on the controller through the steam controller configuration cant do it on console or origin though, just on Steam. I don't know the specifics but i know that Keon and Extesyy who are both goated on the 'roller do tap-strafing without switching to the keys.

Sheild swaps and door plays are key IF you can pull it off smoothly haha I've tried door plays and made myself look stupid 🤣 Watch daltoosh play, hes an animal as well!

Have played since season 0 but started on PS and then watched ACEU and it blew my mind. The only person I watched and thought “this can’t be the same game I’m playing.” I now play on m&k and got a PC but I still think he’s playing a different game lol

I think I was a couple of weeks into season one and realised I had nine Apex packs. On the fourth one I got Wraith's heirloom not knowing how valuable it was. Also on the subject of character speed you're correct in saying they all move at the same pace but the arm animations on each legend vary too. This gives another illusion of different speed.

BRO TAPPED STRAFED OFF THE BALCONY THEN TAPPED STRAFED A HEADSHOT WITH THE SHOTTY

Know this is old video but to explain some of the movement Tec you see in this video: Zipline dash you see he does is by Press E on the zip and right after spam jump to get off :) this can also be combo with CTRL/C to go down. One thing to remember is that you cant jump before you attack to the zip or it wont work. Tap strafe: Is Tec that is combo with Air strafe. Jump then press A/D and then move camera in that direction. In this game this will increases you speed! Then to do tap strafe just add W input that for most players on scroll wheel up to do this :) This make so you change direction in the air. This can ALSO Be done with control on PC with program something I just feel they should add so controller can do it as well :D Next thing you see is wall bounce :D this when jump into the wall and you see your character hold on the wall you spam press space (scroll wheel down for most players) This is also combo with tap strafe to get more speed into the wall and then combo out again with tap strafe to get over the same wall you wall bounce into. Next thing you see him do is super dash! this 1 frame input where you press W + shift + C/CTRL at the 1 frame when your character walt over an object and is different with each object you walt over.

You can tap strafe on controller If you are playing on pc. you do so by pre setting your binds in the steam app (there are tutorials for this). Tap strafing is taking advantage of the games movement system by, most commonly, setting your scroll wheel on your mouse (up or down) to forward movement. By imputing the forward movement button multiple times while in the air it allows you to change the direction of your momentum at the drop of a dime. Because scroll wheel is overwhelmingly better at this task than controller, allowing pc players to tap strafe 180 degrees or more, and for a flurry of other reasons, tap strafing has been nerfed to 90 degree angles only. it is a very easy mechanic to get used to, if you play on pc i suggest giving it a shot.
